@nelsonpina36024 @Provokethoughtz Bad example. Islam is an ideology, not an immutable characteristic.
English

@TArchcast Why is snape so dark? I can't see anything in that shot.
English

@JVinylCollector @Crimson_Kioku @ifwsaint Ai is better for the environment than this, do you know how much water Billie eilish wastes when she makes an album cover like this?
English

@Crimson_Kioku @ifwsaint Or we could appreciate artists actually trying to shoot REAL album artwork instead of using AI which steals from actual artists and causes environmental harm.

Hideo Kojima says he has an extremely sensitive sense of smell!
“My sense of smell is much more sensitive than most people’s. I have never been formally diagnosed with ‘hyperosmia’ by a doctor but, sometimes smells can make me feel sick...
When I ride the company elevator, I can sometimes tell who was in there previously just by the scent left behind by the person riding before.
I don’t even like aromas, so my motivation for wearing perfume isn't about fashion. It's to protect myself from other smells. That’s why I try to avoid wearing perfumes with high fragrance concentrations.
I also carry a portable atomizer with me. It’s so that I am always able to have my own ‘scent’, even when I'm out and about or on a business trip.”

@Tablesalt13 I dont think this mentally handicapped officer understands stickers, the moment they're removed from an object they're damaged.
English

@baishi256mk2 @AloyValentine33 @TheGameVerse Wait, so he litterally just played through the game like everyone else did... please tell me he was on insanity difficulty or something atleast.

A 91-year-old streamer became a social media star after beating a horror game without any guides
Chinese gamer Yang Binglin, known as Game Grandpa, completed Resident Evil Requiem without using a single walkthrough. He streamed the entire playthrough and solved everything on his own.
To keep track of details, he wrote everything down in a regular notebook. That’s how he worked through puzzles and navigated the game.
He was previously listed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest gaming streamer. Before retirement, he worked as an engineer and only started gaming after 1996.
English

@Dexerto If I get so old that I'm struggling this much with something as simple as an re game just nominate me for maid bro...
Yang said Resident Evil taught him that “no matter how difficult things are, as long as someone is with you, you can get through it.”
English

@ryangerritsen Would be cool to see a psychologist explain why many people who go through terrible traumatic events become evil people themselves.
English

@WillTheLandMan True, people also don't care what the movie is, they just want to see something new in 70mm.
English

This rules but just want to say that — The last time there was this kind of excitement for a non-franchise picture was last year with SINNERS. Also sold out for over a week and more. But the sentiment remains, the crowds yearn for non franchise IP films.
Dan Marcus@Danimalish
PROJECT HAIL MARY is almost completely sold out at Universal CityWalk IMAX for the next week. This is a Monday night screening. The last time I witnessed this kind of excitement in a non-franchise picture was with OPPENHEIMER.
English

@ColinBest1978 @JakeLandauTO Yeah, it can be hard justifying taking a day off work to see a movie too. Guy behind me in sinners was telling me it was tight seeing the movie even with the day off because his flight got delayed.
English

@JakeLandauTO Closest one to me requires a plane trip,or a ferry crossing and then either a long car drive,or complicated public transport arrangements. No matter how good a film might be,I don't have the time/money/selfishness (I've a family) to build a short break around a cinema trip.
English

IMAX: "We're investing large amounts of money into preserving the 70mm format for directors to keep using in their films"
Me: "Cool can we get new auditoriums that can play these 70mm films, or at least play 1.43:1 digitally?
IMAX: "haha no"
alan b.@inceptstellar
i'm ngl japan going from having 54 IMAX 70mm theaters to now having 0 is kinda insane
English

@hamstake_ @JakeLandauTO Yeah, its only happened to me once but sometimes the projector just shreds it and they have to stop. Really sucks for the people who flew 4+ hours to get there. Thankfully I'm only a 2 hour drive to my 70mm imax theatre.
English

@JakeLandauTO I heard a story about one of the 70mm imax showings getting borked, movie stopping halfway thru, and everyone getting free passes. I've also heard about messed up aspect ratios.
English

@Jorge96j @JakeLandauTO Well yeah... no ones gonna fly to Mississippi to see a movie.
English

@JakeLandauTO Imax 70mm to a certain extent feels classist lol. Like “We don’t care if you can or can’t watch it as long as we can, in LA,NY, London etc.”
English

@b0n0myt1res @OregonHomer @JakeLandauTO All 70mm screenings everywhere are sold out, the point is that even if you fill the theatre you'll still never make your money back.
English

@OregonHomer @JakeLandauTO Tell that to the sold out screenings at BFI IMAX this weekend
English

@ck_kohinoor @Krinios Nothing even comes close to rivaling 70mm imax. It sucks because you can't even explain the scale of it unless you've seen it.
English

@Krinios I've been meaning to ask a question for a while now. Technically and in terms of quality, which is better between IMAX 70mm and GT Dual Laser?
English

I saw this last night in dual laser IMAX and the most insane thing is that 80% of the movie is in this aspect ratio. The only time it looks like a normal widescreen movie is during flashback scenes on earth
Dan Marcus@Danimalish
PROJECT HAIL MARY in IMAX 70mm, taken by projectionist Taylor Umphenour. This is what the movies were made for.
English

@pskpspspss @Krinios 70mm is always super cheap, I think they're factoring in that a lot of people have to also buy plane tickets or a tank of gas.
English

@Krinios Found out there’s one within driving distance.. will be a few months before there’s another movie worth it but it’s only like $18 for 70mm
English

@GodzillaCheeze @ashotmagazine @auzziejlee @IMAX Yeah, they should keep building them until they're at max a 4 hour flight for any movie fan.
English

@gaspastrike @ashotmagazine @IMAX Aren't you in the u.s.? You can easily fly to a 70mm movie theatre.
English

@ashotmagazine @IMAX Now they need to make some more screens so I can actually catch a movie like this
English

@myburner0192 @ashotmagazine @IMAX Yeah its kind of weird, they definetly don't have a hard time marketing, especially when things like the oddysey sell out over a year in advance.
English

@ashotmagazine @IMAX What’s the point of marketing this when there are 30 70mm IMAX screens on the whole fucking earth
English
