Feel bad for the $AAVE team honestly.
They did everything right:
Clean contracts.
Proper audits.
Tight risk framework.
Umbrella safety module live and funded.
And still got caught holding $196M of bad debt because a bridge they don't control got drained.
Building in DeFi in 2026 means your attack surface includes every protocol you decided to trust.
No amount of internal rigor saves you from external fragility.

Kelp DAO got drained for $292M yesterday. Biggest DeFi hack of the year. Aave didn't get touched. Their contracts are fine. But someone used the stolen $rsETH as collateral on Aave to borrow $wETH against it, and now Aave is sitting on $196M of bad debt. $6.6 billion exited Aave in a few hours. wETH utilization hit 100%. The protocol froze. $AAVE down more than 20%. That's two nine figure DeFi hacks in 18 days. $600M+ gone in April alone.

Honestly, I feel like Lens Protocol could be one of the next projects heading toward shutdown soon.
It feels like @LC has lost direction. The team is barely active now - only 3–4 tweets a month on X.
A few years ago, Lens NFTs were one of the most hyped assets in Web3.
• Hard to get a Lens handle
• Multiple hints about a possible airdrop
Because of this, the price of a Lens NFT went from ~$2 to nearly $250.
The community didn’t sell.
Why? Because everyone believed:
“Lens NFT holders will get a massive Airdrop.”🪂
Since getting a Lens handle was difficult.
People were buying them for $200–$250, hoping for future rewards.
But what happened next?
The team started selling thousands of NFTs, taking advantage of the hype created by those hints.
Later they made Lens handles public, meaning anyone could mint them.
And until today:
• No token
• No airdrop
• No clear direction

OpenSea (SEA) is coming It's 366th day since when this announcement was made & I think $SEA is stuck in the sea of Antarctica that's why it's taking so long. I believe it's the biggest extractor in the market who's farming it's own community (millions have been collected through XP campaigns & billions in revenue) I'm not into it but I noticed they are extracting a lot (1xp/$1 spent) lmao. Anything less than 4-5 figure will not be acceptable but I think it'll be peanut. gl if you are farming
