Told yesterday of a couple in their 80’s who went to their GP surgery to make an appointment to change her tablets as she has cancer. She was told she couldn’t have an appointment for several weeks. They sat in shock, then a woman who couldn’t speak much English came in to book and was given one the following day. The gentleman went to complain and was told they get paid £184 to give an appointment to the other lady. Shocking. 2-tier system.

Mine used to be that you had to phone at 8.30am, and if you were quick enough to get at the front of the queue you'd get a same day appt, and if not bad luck, try again tomorrow. Last time I got an appointment for two weeks later,

Just a quick message to anyone who may happen to see this. I have a relatively small account and absolutely no influence whatsoever, but I’ll say this anyway: if you’re trying to smear Nigel Farage and take him down, you will not win. Nigel has the grit and determination to fight back against the lies and smears coming from people on the left, and even from those who claim to be on the right, such as Ben Habib. @BillWiIdin No stress to get to your desk, in work and ready to go way before if in the office. Work with less distractions, finish later as no commute home. For most people who can, this is just perfect and results in higher productivity.

If you work from home, you shouldn't get a full salary since you're basically Babysitting your own life on company time. If you have time to start a load of laundry between meetings, you’re technically a part-time employee.
