Repair girls & guys, has any one ever tried using a 1/2/3 inch drill-pad with 2000-3000 grit + polishing on console plastics? I've gone through dozens of videos tempted to try on a N64 Pikachu shell surface (several scratches/various areas) still not sure bout pros/cons though

@mdf200 mm, shape looks like a IEC 320 C7 Mike - but can't tell without a size reference if it's smaller or not. Could be mini-c7 or perhaps even C1 or C2 - have a google/measure.

Well over a decade ago I tried to recap a Turbo Duo with a single temp Radio Shack iron, no flux, and a horrible tutorial on YouTube. Due to leaky caps I pulled many many traces… I’ve had to live in shame ever since, but now the time has finally come to regain my honor!
