Should be fixed in ~48 hours (google takes time to roll out the update to everyone) We were actually trying to reduce the number of required permissions as much as possible to keep the extension as privacy-friendly as possible Here're the ones we're using atm (it can change in the future if we find ways to remove more): - activeTab: to know when to activate the chrome extension (when you're on YouTube or 1of10 app) - storage: used in the thumbnail previewer (to store the thumbnail and display it on the youtube bage) - host permission: used to send authenticated API calls to 1of10 (basically to know if you're logged into 1of10 from premium features) To be 100% transparent about browserHistory (from chrome.webNavigation): we were using the onHistoryStateUpdated event to detect when users navigated between videos on YouTube without a full page reload (since YouTube is mostly a SPA). It was a performance optimization to ensure only relevant requests for the current page stayed active. But we've found a better way to do this without needing the permission, thus this update!
