@BBCSussexSport I just don’t see how Sussex are expected to compete in div 1 We have no income from Men England matches unlike other counties, we also do not have added income generated from the 100. Southern brave is a basically Hampshire It’s all so sad. I despise franchise cricket

@flushingitgolf Interested what other people think, but in my opinion Brooks wouldn’t be leaving liv if he didn’t have some guarantee or agreement with the pga tour for a return. Am I right?

Brooks Koepka has officially left the LIV Golf League by “mutual consent”. The details of the agreement are unclear and the terms of his original contract mean he would be required to pay back millions to break it early, but it is entirely possible the league’s move to 72 holes invalidated it already. Brooks won 5 times on LIV Golf between October 2022 and August 2024, was the Captain of Smash GC and is one of just 2 players to win major championships while playing on the league. He was also one of the original players involved in the breakaway from the PGA Tour. There is no other way to describe this, it is a MASSIVE blow to LIV Golf.

How on earth Sam Curran isn’t in the England white ball squads is beyond me. He’s certainly one of the best allrounders in the country, and arguably in the world. Plus, he’s a winner, for England and in the shortest form around the world. Insanely good cricketer.
