These have been a very difficult set of elections. I’ve felt that in Sunderland.
But the answer is not to turn inwards. It’s to take responsibility, come together & face up to the challenges ahead.
Keir has won before, he can win again. We need to deliver change, not chaos.

Nobody should be launching a coup, we need to give party chance to have a thorough discussion about what has happened, why & what’s needed now but everything has to be on agenda. Keir will need to put party & country first in judging whether he is risking opening door to Farage.

Labour getting wiped out in areas where Starmer purged not just activists, but councillors & candidates - almost always for factional reasons.
That seemed okay, in short term, but it means they have zero resilience in a crisis. The party is going to collapse in much of country.
