@dlm_diane @sciencegirl The others only have one umbrella because the always feel that way! 😂
English

@sciencegirl 4 even though she has an umbrella they still share his for the love of being close.
English

@phantom7355439 @RealBrysonGray @ScottRoberts I said it is fine, as Paul addresses this kind of thing in Romans 14
English

@benparso @RealBrysonGray @ScottRoberts Well hold up Ben let’s take it further I too do not eat pork but because I don’t like it but if he believes it is for the old law he has to take all the old laws

@Keller I bought a new car when my third child was due as I realised this problem
Can’t car seat manufacturers just make them narrower??
English

100% true. This effect has actually been studied carefully with shocking results

Ryan Petersen@typesfast
If Tesla makes a car with 3 rows of seats, each with its own pair of doors so nobody has to climb over anybody else to get to their seat, they will create a baby boom the likes of which we haven’t seen in 80 years

@KalaDeeDee @sola_chad None of what you just said shows that the thief was covered with the fluid from Jesus’ side. As I said it is made up.
English

It is the early Christian understanding.
The blood and water from Christ's body show the reality of the great sacraments. The water speaks of our baptism, which is participation in Christ's life-giving death (Rom 6:6-11). In Communion, we receive His life-giving Blood, “drinking from His very side” - St JohnChrysostom. It is literally the forgiveness of sins and the regeneration of mankind that poured out from our Lord's side.

English

@KalaDeeDee @sola_chad How is that prove the thief on the cross was ‘baptised’ by Jesus blood and fluids?
English

@benparso @sola_chad Read this again
Rom6: 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
English

@72daystar @sola_chad You have an incredibly weak argument here, I suggest you look into the is further.
English

@benparso @sola_chad That's stronger than the evidence supports. It's logically more likely that at least one of the criminals managed to say something disparaging since we have more than one gospel that attests to that.
English

@72daystar @sola_chad Luke made up everything Jesus said on the cross too?
English

@benparso @sola_chad I don't think it's as unlikely that he might have one dying exclamation. Mark has the ring of truth since that particular exclamation doesn't fit well with the trinity.
English

@benparso @sola_chad Only his death gasp of “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” That's it. And Mark is purported to be the earlies gospel account.
Luke's writer's witnesses were to various events he gives an account. We don't know the specific quality of the witnesses for the crucifixion.
English

@Mr_Husky1 Basagna instead of lasagna - sounds much more exciting! 😂
English

@72daystar @sola_chad Mark records Jesus speaking from the cross.
You have no idea when this was recorded.
Luke spoke to eyewitnesses, the people he wrote to were very familiar with crucifixions, so if they couldn’t talk & he made it up, they would know immediately.
It’s not far more likely at all.
English

@benparso @sola_chad People familiar with crucifixion & the human body disagree. Luke's writer was writing this in Greek something like 30-60 years later. The earlier gospel (Mark) just mentions ridicule. Far more likely the writer just wanted more faith and redemption for the unworthy narrative.
English

@RealBrysonGray @ScottRoberts One, that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be in the bible, and two we have Acts 10:15
“The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
But it’s fine if you don’t want to eat it.
English

@ScottRoberts No, it doesn’t. “Jesus declared all foods clean” doesn’t exist in the Greek in that verse in ANY early manuscripts.
English

@AgainstAtheismX That’s because the biblical definition of Fasting is always from food.
There is wisdom in abstaining from other things, But it’s not actual fasting.
I’ve abstained from social media, tv, my phone many times!
English
