@ChefGruel The properties of a molecule are only determined by its structure, not where it comes from, so as long as it is the same, if it’s cheaper to produce, why not?

Never meet your heroes??? Nah. Do it. Just be prepared. It was amazing talking with Nobel Laureate Charles Rice. Fulfilling to be able to have a good quality technical exchange with one of the world leading experts on Hepatitis C.

Clarity is one of the most underrated skills in research. ONE clear statement of the research project's direction does 90% of the work. Once you have it, it's just execution.

Class enrollment done. I’m taking two PhD-level classes because they’re interesting. My GPA will probably not benefit from this Sad to think about how grad schools look at GPA. Seems like people who want to challenge themselves are not welcome

Biotech is an experience-based business. It’s not a “just do it” field. Every iteration is expensive and needs the right technology, materials and expertise. It requires a lot of trials to learn, but also a lot of knowledge to try.

The only way to learn is to do stuff. I’ve never learned as much as when I worked in a lab or built something with friends. It forces you to understand the ins and outs of a topic. Studying theory with no applicative purpose is useless.

just wrapped an unforgettable weekend at TreeHacks 2025—our first time sponsoring a non-web3 hackathon for @eigencloud. over 1,000 hackers & 260 projects, it was incredible to watch AI enthusiasts, super-talented students, and first-time hackers collide and create magic. massive congrats to all who built with EigenLayer—36 submissions, 11 shortlisted, 3 winners! huge thanks to @dabit3, @sreeramkannan, @kydo0x, @13yearoldvc, @soubhik_deb, and the entire crew who flew in for Valentine’s Day—your all-in commitment powered the late-night debugging sessions and sparked the crazy ideas we saw in the final demos. TreeHacks proved that when top-tier students, real-world mentors, and an open platform collide, next-gen innovation happens—fast. this is just the start. TreeHacks 2025 proved that a fusion of brilliant young devs, real-world mentors, and unstoppable curiosity can spark the next wave of tech. keep your eyes on us—we’re gearing up to 100x the builder journey for verifiable compute. watch this space.

@GLaDOUGHSandHiv @dabit3 @eigencloud Thank you!! For me it was mapping clearly the needs of all parties using our app, the legalities and privacy behind it, and developing a good model that could work. I wasn’t very familiar with blockchain and integrating it into an issue like this was very interesting

We conquered Treehacks! In just 36 hours, we brought our vision for revolutionizing healthcare to life — and took home a 2nd place web3 Track award. Our team won $7,000 & 7000 EIGEN from @eigencloud ! Here some highlights of our weekend 🧵:

3. Presenting to the judges was my favourite part. I talked about healthcare, Cynthia and Shayaan about blockchains, and Taarush about the UI. We were able to showcase our interests and get more people passionate about the issue.

An unforgettable weekend: in my first hackathon ever, my team and I won second place in TreeHacks’s Web3 Track! Taking home $7000 and 7000 EIGEN thanks to @eigencloud — the coolest sponsors ever. MediLedger revolutionizes how hospitals can collaborate. Powered by EigenDA and Merkle proofs, our decentralized inventory system enables trustless verification of drug availability while preserving supply chain privacy. LOTS more to implement, but here's some takeaways 🌲
