@ggabefootball The best part of the story is that Gerry listened to his team and heard what they had to say. That's what a good leader does.

This is someone what true but not entirely. I just gave Brendan the whole story via DM. Jerry was never against talking Matt but there was another RB he liked better. Jerry though was outvoted in meetings leading up to that Draft by me, Ron Turner, Tim Spencer and Chris Ballard. When we got to Draft Day, Matt was the player we were targeting and we got him in the 2nd round
Brendan Sugrue@BrendanSugrue

I love learning about old NFL Drafts and Matt Forte didn't hold back. He told me with @TheBearsWire that Bears GM Jerry Angelo didn't want to draft him back in 2008. Forte was easily the best offensive draft pick of the Angelo era, and he wanted someone else. Go figure.

If Billy Donovan stays long-term, the Bulls will allow him a significant say in who is hired as their new general manager, per @ShamsCharania. Unlike most front office structures, it appears Donovan would have more power over whoever Chicago decides to hire in this scenario.

Your routine salon visit might be hiding a serious health risk that scientists are just beginning to fully unravel. Recent large-scale studies, including data from the National Institutes of Health, suggest a disturbing link between the frequent application of permanent chemical hair dyes and an elevated risk of developing breast cancer. The primary medical concern centers around aromatic amines and other harsh coloring agents that can be easily absorbed directly through the scalp into the bloodstream. Women who use these heavy chemical treatments regularly face a disproportionate risk, highlighting the hidden, long-term dangers lurking in everyday cosmetic products. However, oncologists are quick to clarify that this ongoing research currently demonstrates a strong association rather than definitive, direct causation. A person's overall risk profile remains heavily influenced by a complex combination of genetics, hormonal history, and broader daily lifestyle choices. Navigating these startling findings doesn't necessarily mean you have to completely abandon coloring your hair forever. Many dermatologists strongly recommend extending the time between dye jobs or making the switch to plant-based, semi-permanent alternatives that lack these aggressive synthetic chemicals. If you choose to continue using conventional dyes at home, simple safety measures like ensuring excellent room ventilation and wearing protective gloves can significantly minimize direct exposure. Ultimately, staying deeply informed about the specific ingredients in our beauty routines is our strongest defense for long-term wellness. Will these new scientific findings make you reconsider your current hair coloring routine or push you to explore natural alternatives?

BREAKING🚨: A New Light Treatment Showing Promise in Autism? What if a beam of light could quietly change a child’s brain activity… and help ease autism symptoms? Scientists recently tried something unusual—shining near‑infrared light to the heads of children with autism every day for 8 weeks. Strange as it sounds, the results were eye‑opening. Parents and researchers started noticing something… not just small improvements, but measurable changes. On standard autism severity tests, children showed an average 7‑point drop in symptoms after the treatment. And when doctors looked at their EEG brain waves, they saw shifts in patterns that could signal real brain changes. No magic wand here—this isn’t a cure. And researchers stress that more work is needed to know if this can truly help kids long term. But the idea that light, something we barely think about, could be linked to changes in the brain… that’s enough to make anyone stop scrolling. Could this be the beginning of a new way to help children with autism? Only time — and more research — will tell. But one thing is clear: this is not science fiction anymore. Source: Martinsen, Ø. G., et al. Effects of near‑infrared light therapy on autism symptoms and EEG outcomes. Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.

🚨 Your choice of daily clothing fabric might be acting as a completely unintentional, temporary contraceptive. A fascinating clinical study revealed that continuous localized exposure to synthetic materials, specifically polyester, can drastically halt male reproductive functions within just a few months. Surprisingly, researchers found that the participants' internal hormone levels remained completely normal, proving this isn't a systemic disruption. The issue stems entirely from the micro-environment created by the fabric, where trapped heat, lack of ventilation, and even static electricity directly impair sensitive biological processes. Human sperm production relies heavily on the testes remaining slightly cooler than core body temperature, making breathable environments essential. Restrictive synthetics essentially act as a thermal trap, overheating the area and completely derailing the rapid cellular turnover needed for healthy physiological function. This research offers a critical piece of the puzzle for couples struggling with unexplained fertility issues, highlighting how sensitive the body is to external physical conditions. It is a stark reminder that reproductive health isn't just about genetics or hormones; it is heavily influenced by daily, seemingly harmless lifestyle choices. Fortunately, the startling effects documented in the study were highly reversible once the synthetic exposure was removed from the daily equation. Swapping out artificial fabrics for breathable, natural alternatives like 100% cotton is a simple, proactive measure to safeguard long-term wellness. Will you be checking the clothing tags in your drawer more closely after learning how much fabric actually matters?
