Google started showing how often they receive defamation claims from restaurants now. People in Germany now look at that instead of the stars to decide where to eat. Streisand effect in full gear

@twostraws i like keeping Fable as orchestrator and making it use codex mcp for implementing, even with 20$ openai subscription using 5.6 Sol, I can't hit the limit at all. Otherwise one wrong prompt and Fable starts a huge workflow to drain the weekly limit in 5 minutes

Working on "Codget", its a simple widget for Claude Code to follow the status of all Claude Code sessions on your machine. You can jump to the exact iterm tab. It floats on the screen, can be placed next to the dock. Very helpful if you are running a lot of sessions.

Sidekick comes with a local built-in MCP, for now its only a few tools but eventually will have all possible access to App Store Connect features, can be connected to any tool.

Working on the AI Assistant for Sidekick app, you will be able to automate some of the tedious tasks. Since it has full context of your app, you can tell it stuff like "create German locale and translate everything" etc. BYOK and can choose any model. For now only OpenAI but will expand.

started working on a new open source project: sidekick, a macos app to deal with App Store Connect but with a better UX - because you know why. For now, it can do: - editing basic app metadata with translations - basic subscription management - purchasing power parity pricing for subscriptions with bigmac index. - built-in MCP server which is very handy with Claude Code etc. More stuff coming! My goal is never visiting appstore connect again. Soon available on AppStore to download. The code is available on GitHub⬇️

We @triggerdotdev were hit with the us-east-1 outage this morning, as we recently migrated our workload servers to AWS. Warm starts continued to function as normal but we could not pull images from ECR so some cold start executions were effected. Deploying was also (and continues to be) effected because we use a vendor for image builds that is also down because of the us-east-1 outage. Runs that could not complete due to image pull failures were eventually retried and went through once AWS ECR was back up thanks to our new v4 run engine. And again warm starts weren't effected so the majority of runs didn't have any issues and went through as normal. We're now going to be accelerating our plans to add additional AWS regions as well as increase our ability to secure EC2 machines across all AZs in any region we are in.

@karololszacki @GergelyOrosz There was a change in tax codes couple years ago on how do companies expense r&d salaries. Developers from abroad became more expensive, eg their annual salary is amortized over very long period of time.

Those on an H1B cannot return to the US from tomorrow (Sunday) unless paying $100K. This is an out-of-the blue presidential action. We’ll see software engineers stranded abroad. One easy to predict outcome: those on US visas will travel less… for work, for conferences etc.

@skirano I started to feel the same, longer wait times, I am on max plan it was great a few weeks ago but now it seems it's rate-limited or nerfed.

I'm pretty sure Claude 4 got nerfed.
