@steipete @IncrementMag Flutter implements its own networking stack based on BSD sockets, which can lead to all kinds of issues when VPNs are required (enterprise apps). See e.g. github.com/flutter/flutte… Likewise with packages on top (image cache, etc.). You’ll need to roll your own in many cases.

Would love to hear from folks that used to build apps in React Native or UIKit-iOS and made the move to Flutter. What’s better, what’s worse? What made you do the jump? (Working on an upcoming article for @IncrementMag)

what's the relationship between Iterator and folds? It seems Iterator allows you to efficiently iterate over a data structure (ala foldLeft) and it also gives you laziness.
