. @Patrickonyango1 "Police at CPS Kampala have arrested the driver of a motor vehicle, registration number UAZ 515C who made a deliberate attempt to run over a traffic officer on Kampala Road.
The incident was captured in a video circulating on social, wherein our officer was attempting to stop the vehicle, but instead of complying with the directives, the driver chose to endanger the life of the police officer.
The driver, identified as Mukwaya Issac, attempted to deceive the authorities by pretending to be sick when brought in for interrogation. However, upon examination, it was determined that he was in normal health and had intentionally inserted the cannula into his hand.
Consequently, Mukwaya was arrested and is being detained at CPS Kampala.
The officer, who narrowly escaped being struck by the vehicle, is Katongole Josam. The police have filed three charges against Mukwaya:
1.Violating traffic lights.
2.Reckless driving.
3.Attempted murder.
We urge the general public, particularly motorists, to adhere to the instructions provided by our traffic officers.
Granted he might have been extorting money from his fellow men but the idea of undressing him to the point of forcing him to pull out his tiny private parts was uncalled for, this was so stupid of the men & women in uniform. Suspects have rights & their rights must be respected!
COSASE C/P @JoelSsenyonyi has been “ordered” to start conducting committee meetings regarding the @Ugandairlines1 in camera b’se the recent proceedings have apparently put the commercial viability of the airline at stake. Now you know you no longer have even the right to know..
@rkabushenga@BOU_Official You man, during the hard times of covid, you retrenched staff. Now you twit as if you care! We shall never buy into this. It will haunt you for the rest of your life.
.@BOU_Official has spoken. A lot of English but basically the economy has jammed. It is going to get tougher & u r on your own. No amount of talking or explaining or argufying 🤣is going to change anything. If we don’t make hard choices especially at the highest levels, we r 🤬
In #kenyaelections2022 the two leading candidates, William Ruto and Raila Odinga, spent a second night sleeping peacefully in their beds. There were no soldiers at their gates preventing them from leaving, or stopping their lawyers going in. Let’s see what the day brings.
URGENT:

@JamorOpio I know the field boys may need "kickback" but I am not ready to promote a form of corruption. It should be at a customer's discretion to appreciate, but not demand "kickbacks" in a tricky way. @nwscug@NWSCMD
Dear @nwscug@NWSCMD, I would have come in peace but I am getting disappointed. I applied for a new water connection in November 2021 at your Mukono branch but up to date, no progress, ever since the surveying was done.
When we are tempted to judge others badly, we must rather reflect on our own weakness. It is good to ask ourselves what drives us to correct a brother or a sister, and if we are not in some way co-responsible for their mistake. #GeneralAudience
