1) In March, DC mayoral candidate Janeese Lewis George paid Unite Here (DC & NYC ) a total of $73,336.34 for "staff salary reimbursements". Unite Here has endorsed JLG. Unite Here has contributed to Safe and Affordable DC, an independent expenditure committee.

@BarrasReport Campaigns can reimburse unions for staff time. Unions can endorse candidates and support independent expenditures. The only issue would be coordination, and there’s no evidence of that from your posts. Overlap does not equal illegality.

3) On 4/06/26 mayoral candidate Janeese Lewis George's campaign paid SEIU 32BJ $10,901.33 for "staff salary reimbursement." That union has endorsed JLG. It also contributed $100,000 to the Safe and Affordable independent expenditure committee. Is JLG's violating OCF laws?
