An illegal who kills is a criminal, and we punish criminals. That system works. But when an ICE agent kills and faces nothing, that’s not one tragedy, it’s a government agency being told it can kill without consequence. An unaccountable armed agency is a far bigger threat to safety and freedom than any single criminal. And therefore far more important to fight back against.
