The delegation also visited the campus of Infosys, which spans around 100 acres and accommodates approximately 30,000 employees. During the visit, a detailed presentation was made on the integrated Command and Control Centre, which enables real-time monitoring of the entire electronic city and supports efficient data collection, coordination, and management of services. Key discussions during the meeting focused on potential collaboration and knowledge exchange. The Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) team will undertake financial modelling within one month and present two to three possible implementation models along with detailed execution plans. Established in 2013, the Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) was envisioned as a modern industrial township designed on the lines of a futuristic smart city. Spread across an area of 903 acres, the township features well-planned infrastructure and civic amenities, making it a model for the development of future industrial townships.
