Some truths 1. Since the Brexit vote, people have been protesting vote because the system isn't listening to them 2. The over professionalisation of politics has meant we've become obsessed with being right rather than governing with a vision 3. Authenticity matters.

As one of 5 girls - all Uni graduates - all business women- the daughters of a woman who came to this country without any English and produced Drs , lawyers , accountants , military officers , teachers and Britain’s first Muslim cabinet minister! Because Muslim women have achieved phenomenal things for hundreds of years. Do you really think we Muslim women have kicked the glass ceiling for decades to gain equality to listen to your islamaphobic BS only to stand by and witness this racism? We are the daughters of a wonderful feminist , a Muslim man, a working class Muslim man who worked until the age of 83. Despite racism being unlawful he was regularly abused and beaten during his working life because of the attitudes you are spouting Encouraged from head to toe from a young age often we Being unable to go out unaccompanied because of the same ignorant views you express So called “paki bashing”a reality of growng up You need to open your eyes 👀.. There's no way to spin this. I think we are on the precipice of a dangerous political pivot in the west. And entirely based on the US govt. 1. Blaming DEI and forcing companies to abandon their programmes is nothing more than a loyalty test to see what else they can erode society

So. What do we do? Organise/campaign/vote. Yes. All important things. But we need more. I think this is a time we need more debate and speaking up by those in the decent, reasonable, silent political majority to speak up, to push back when they see and hear this narrative. ✊🏾

4. Trump's proposed plan of turning Gaza into a billionaire's riviera is nothing short of proposing a form of ethnic cleansing and annexation for the US. We may disagree on the rights and wrongs of the destruction of Gaza (even that's a stretch) but this is craven land grabbing
