I ask myself this very question all the time. My soon to be ex-wife LOVES cruises (mid 40s) and having flown MedEvac extractions off those boats for the past decade, I'm totally of the opposite persuasion.
Zero interest.

But why *do* boomers love cruises so much is a question I can't figure out. Cabins are claustrophobic, you're trapped on the equivalent of a floating Disney resort, food is mostly just ok if you don't get sick, any destinations for a giant ship are mediocre. Truly a mystery.
