Bitcoin just hit $75,000. Everyone’s talking about the price… but that’s not the interesting part. What’s actually happening is Iran built a large-scale Bitcoin mining operation using cheap energy. Then a big chunk of that infrastructure disappeared. And instead of stepping away from Bitcoin… They demanded to be paid in BTC!

Bitcoin makes smart people look stupid for a long time. You watch everyone around you get richer doing the obvious things. Stocks ripping. Real estate flipping. AI narratives changing every week. Group chats celebrating gains you consciously opted out of. You sit there holding something that feels dead, mocked, boring, and vaguely embarrassing to explain. You doubt yourself quietly because being right too early feels identical to being delusional. That’s the tax. Bitcoin tests whether you can be correct without applause. Whether you can hold conviction without social proof. Whether you can watch the wrong people win for years and still not flinch. Most people fail Bitcoin because they couldn’t survive looking crazy long enough. The payout comes later. The cost is paid upfront.
