@piteasio How does a non-technical person protect themselves? I don't know what any of this terminology is. What is a "precrafted call"?

unfortunately, attacks on web3 touchpoints have increased a lot lately, and now users are being exploited through fake txs designed to target them directly. whether it’s Piteas or PulseX, Pulsechain or Ethereum, it doesn’t really matter which app or chain you’re on, because they send you pre-crafted calls based on the chain where your funds are and the app you use, then try to catch you with a blind sign. we urge everyone to stay careful and protect themselves from becoming the target of these growing attacks. our feeling is that DPRK may no longer be targeting just protocols, but users too. make sure your devices and your network or VPN are secure. stay safe.

@NiallHarbison They care enough to come up with an idea to try and keep him safe. I've done veterinary work in remote areas before. You do what you can with what you've got. Sometimes, what you have is a lot of love.

Hard one… cruelty or kindness? This dog belongs to a not well off family who live in a shack. They love him. Unfortunately he likes chasing cars and mopeds. That’s very dangerous here as he’ll get injured or even shot. I see it all the time. So the owners solution is to tie this empty and light container around his neck. It stops the dog being able to run fast. It means they don’t have to keep the dog on a chain 24/7 for his own protection. People in the West will be quick to say it’s cruelty but that awkward solution is a sign of love. Just in a very different way. They live in a shack and have no inside space for the dog. I totally get that people will say it’s cruel. It’s certainly not ideal. But I do know they love their dog 🥺

I was just accepted for a role at Mercor for a project paying $30/hour. Yes, you read that right. If I can do it, you can do it. And they support Nicaragua, if you know how to get the signing up right though. Mercor is one of the few remote‑first platforms that doesn’t punish you for living in a “cheap” country. They keep pay location‑independent: some roles start around 14 USD/hour, while expert positions can go up to about 80 USD/hour. That’s a massive difference compared to the 65% of remote employers who quietly slash your salary—sometimes by up to 50%—the moment you move to a lower‑cost country. If you’re a digital nomad in Nicaragua or thinking about moving to Latin America, this is exactly the kind of setup you want: Earn in a strong currency. Spend in a country with lower living costs. Keep full flexibility over where you live, without your employer using your new location as an excuse to downgrade your pay grade. Most roles are about helping AI get better—reviewing, comparing, and improving AI outputs—so you don’t have to be a hardcore programmer to get started. If you can think clearly, follow guidelines, and give high‑quality feedback, you can build a serious remote income stream from anywhere with a stable internet connection. If you’ve been planning to leave your home country but are worried about losing earning power, Mercor‑style, location‑independent pay is exactly what you should be aiming for. Deep dive in forum, link in bio!

@TheMeshtastic @M5Stack I love the concept of Meshtastic, but it seems limited to advanced tech people. I have had this lillygo t-deck for a few months, and have never been able to use it, despite many hours of research and troubleshooting. It's just a paperweight at this point. The hunt continues.

I recommend creatine to nearly everyone. But here are my caveats: 1. Make sure it's creatine monohydrate - this is the form that's most well-studied and effective. You don't need a "fancy" form. 2. Beware of gummies. If you use them, make sure you're getting one that's been third-party tested and contains the stated amount of creatine (many brands do not). 3. Look for an an NSF certification. This will help avoid heavy metals and other contaminants you don't want. Clip is from my recent appearance on @JordanHarbinger show!

Highly dependent on your lifestyle and why you want dogs to begin with. Activity level, maintenance, noise level, trainability, etc. Are all things to consider. For example -- a sedentary person living in a 1 bedroom apartment should NOT get a high-energy dog like a german shepard. With that being said, Golden Retrievers are a great all-around dog that can fit into many different lifestyles.

Although I have certain...personal differences with the Ecuadorian people and have steered clear from the country for the past few years, I will admit Quito is curiously underrated on this side of X. Reasonable cost of living, straightforward residency, nice architecture, temperate climate, bit of narco violence peppered in to keep things lively... I think it's a good place to go right now perhaps for more creative types who need to live cheaply — the colonial architecture; landscapes can inspire!

🇪🇨 QUITO, ECUADOR 🇪🇨 A quick look at one of the least visited, but cheapest capital cities in South America... → Metro Population: ~3M metro - a proper capital city with international airport, modern hospitals, and solid infrastructure, all crammed into a narrow Andean valley that makes traffic a nightmare → Climate Breakdown: Eternal spring at 9,350 ft elevation - highs of 65-70°F and lows of 45-50°F year-round with an afternoon rain pattern, meaning you’ll never need AC but always need a jacket after dark → Best Neighborhood(s): Around Parque La Carolina is best for the average nomad looking to optimize logistics. La Floresta is the nomad/creative hub with cafes and coworking, González Suárez for upscale high-rises with valley views, or Cumbayá if you want a warmer, suburban escape - skip the Centro Histórico for living (great for visits, sketchy at night) → Airbnb Cost Per Month: $600–1,000/mo furnished in a good neighborhood, or $350–550 on a local lease - excellent value considering the infrastructure and the fact that Ecuador uses the US dollar, eliminating currency risk entirely

TRT in Mexico 🇲🇽 Mexico is one of the easiest countries in the world to purchase and administer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) – even without a prescription from a doctor. Hell, you don’t even have to walk into a pharmacy to get it. You can order TRT on Rappi without ever leaving your apartment or hotel. This is what you want: Bayer Primoteston Depot – Testosterone Enanthate Open up Rappi, make sure your location is correct, and type in “Primoteston Depot” – you should find dozens of pharmacies selling it on Rappi if you’re in a big city in Mexico. Currently, it costs about $400 pesos, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, to order Primoteston Depot on Rappi. $20-25 USD for 250mg of TRT, which depending if you’re blasting on cycle or cruising on low dose TRT, will last you 1-2 weeks. nomadanewsletter.io/p/mexico-for-b…

Nature= Ecuador/Galapagos Islands.... The mainland has the Amazon jungle all the way up to the Andean highlands, down to the coast for beaches and everything in between those different zones. Then, the Galapagos islands are truly a treasure in their own right (they are part of Ecuador). It's a lot packed into one small country.
