Over the last decade, the brothers of the Church have lost the following: General Priesthood session of Conference High Priest Group and Group leadership callings Young Men's Presidencies Boy Scouts Priesthood preparation These institutions connected men to either a global fraternity or leadership opportunities that are now reduced in scope and direction and what remains has been increased in responsibility. While the reasons, real or imagined, for these changes are varied, the impact has been real and calamitous for men and boys in the church. Direction, support and guidance in the absence of these programs has been sparse, leaving male leadership without direction or institutional support for programs. This is a real problem, and anyone who denies this is not a serious person. One of two things must happen 1) the church institutes a more cohesive, centralized plan and direction for male oriented leadership at all levels 2) Men step up to the plate and in the absence of direction institute their own programs at the local and regional level, through the guidance of the Spirit. I think the Church has been clear which direction is required at this time. Men. It's time to step up and lead.

“Joseph Smith made it up!” What did he “make up”? Did he invent: – Ancient names now confirmed – Old World details now verified – Hebraic poetry in the text – Accurate Arabian routes – Ritual patterns matching antiquity If he made it up, he guessed right on everything.

The word of God can transform your life, having a “more powerful effect upon the minds of the people than the sword, or anything else” (Alma 31:5). How has the word of God had a powerful effect on your mind? #TheBookOfMormon #ChristTheCornerstone
