It's a terribly poor decision from the planning perspective. The risks should not be ignored. The suburbs will get the money and not the city

Just wrong. He DOES develop young players (Ant, Jaden, Naz, NAW all ELITE development stories. TSJ and Bones both got better. Will see on Clark/Beringer/Rocco). He DOES impose himself on the team. Stories of his fiery film sessions are legion. He has flaws. But let's be honest.

There are a few buildings in uptown that are held hostage by land speculators like this one, the Rainbow building, seven points, etc. Uptown is very busy on the weekends and could use some more creative developers

@NortonMpls @JASchmidt_MPD if you believed that you’d stop invoking the golden era of uptown. you use that reputation and identity all the time. currently it’s open drug use, vacant bldgs, no culture, pot shops, OF, homelessness and fraud.

The lot with the old Victoria’s Secret store in Uptown has lost 50% of its value since it went vacant in 2018. During that same time period an empty office building a block away was torn down and turned into apartments, it’s now worth 1,000% more. The problem isn’t with Uptown.
