@lavacakey i get you OP in the "sounds like they can't sing" part. they have high registers in this song and they almost sounded monotonous on most parts. i find that they could have experimented more on adding some dynamics while still maintaining the street vibe.

@lavacakey to be fair, i find the song to have almost the same problem with Calista's debut song Race Car. i listened to it in 3 different times yday, but nothing is memorable for me. It's giving generic street vibe, loud but not outstanding. the only interesting part for me is Eureka's.

There's a reason why pantropiko gained alot of attention, not because it's bini or anything visual, it's the fact that it's "Filipino song" and not really trying to be anything but a song that have a summer vibe. Try to close your eyes and and just listen. Is it really ppop?
