@vikramchandra @TVMohandasPai @sumant_sinha Energy density is low for solar.. Best as Dr APJ had said.. design & build thorium reactor for power.. Country has rich deposits of thorium.. Only way for energy independence

The best long term way for India to meet its energy needs is to decisively shift towards renewables - and solar in particular. Why depend on oil & gas imports, when we have enough sun? A lot of steps have already been taken in this direction, but @sumant_sinha talks to us on the India Story podcast on how this transition can be accelerated. Do watch, and share your comments! youtu.be/RBhIxRoSLfw?si…

Commute as a Service (CaaS) is surely becoming a market disruptor..private car ownsership & associated business(sales/service/parking/insurance etc) will all feel the blow! For ex. LA is the city with the most parking lots in the world! businessinsider.com/elon-musk-cybe…

Met Union Minister for Railways Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw ji and requested for a High Speed Rail corridor between Bengaluru and Pune. This high speed rail corridor would ensure overall development of the region. This would greatly benefit Belagavi, Hubbali, Haveri, Chitradurga, Tumkur. The Minister has responded very positively.

Italy's frecciarossa & other fast train services in EU use RRTS type trains(Alsthom) to traverse long distances (500Km+) at 200+ kmph Why is that not an option in India? why is govt planning much more expensive bullet trains?? @AshwiniVaishnaw @Tejasvi_Surya @PMOIndia @NITIAayog

I feel the rage about high speed rail connections is all for nothing..India hasnt comissioned one line yet after years.. They'll run that for a bit & realize its not worth it! Rather should just do 'make in India' for more efficient RRTS trains, now that EU is cozying up!

@mkarthik798 @ChristinMP_ Please note that the ONLY way that junction can be unclogged is more people opting for the metro connection coming there.. Everything else is a pipe dream!

Karnataka Demands Fiscal Justice in Union Budget For every ₹100 Karnataka contributes in taxes, we receive back less than ₹15. This is unsustainable. In this Union Budget, we demand fiscal justice. Tax devolution must be increased to ₹40–₹50 to ensure states can truly develop. We are not asking for charity; we are asking for our fair share. The Centre must stop neglecting Southern states. From the ₹5,600 crore promised for Upper Bhadra to declaring UKP Stage 3 a national project with ₹50,000 crore in funding, our vital irrigation and infrastructure projects, such as the Bengaluru Metro and Suburban Railway, require urgent support. Karnataka has lost approximately ₹75,000 crore between the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions. Furthermore, diverting semiconductor industries away from our state through Central incentives undermines the national tech ecosystem. It is time for a budget that strengthens states rather than dividing them. #UnionBudget2026

@Naveen091105 @GauthamMachaiah Let's see.. How many mid managers & lower grade employees do you know who directly get to offices from airport today? Remember the senior mgrs will still prefer the privacy & last mile connect of a car!

@blrsri @GauthamMachaiah It's not really wastefull bcoz it will help connect NEW AND OLD IT. Parks directly with the airport if anyone is planning to go directly to these places it'll be helpful and it'll reduce travel time along these roads as it is always on time airport metro was initially planned for

Bengaluru’s Rs 4,000 cr suburban rail to the airport gets “final approval” 17 years after flights began. Classic cart-before-horse planning. Today, reaching KIA can take longer than the flight itself. Airports are not islands—connectivity must come first, not as an afterthought.

@Naveen091105 @GauthamMachaiah Cool.. So a slow & expensive metro connect to airport is wasteful no? Maybe they should also plan a maglev type super fast non-stop connect into city like Shanghai..20 min..en anthira?

@blrsri @GauthamMachaiah Metro stops are spaced one km apart usually so if u wanna go inside the city metro is useful has it has smaller stop distance but sub urban stops are often 3-4 kms apart and have higher speeds and capacity thus taking load of highway like tumkur, hosur , airport road etc
