The Europeans are not dealing with “a man.” They are dealing with the United States of America. The United States needed the most innocuous kind of cooperation from them. They denied the United States that cooperation. The implied argument is that their obligations within our alliance depend on whether they like the guy we chose as our president. “Sure, we’re allies…if we approve of who you elected.” Nope. We are not going to forget, and we’re not going to forgive. I’m indifferent to their excuses or their rationalizations. The United States of America needed their help and not very much help. They turned us down. That changes everything. And they aren’t going to like how it changes everything.
Gerard Baker@gerardtbaker

The casuistry here is remarkable. This is the simple reality: Like most Americans, most Europeans think this war is a bad idea.Their governments are being asked to take a huge risk by a man who has proved unreliable, volatile and intemperate over and over. Who would do that?

I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope. No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages. Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore. I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water. The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare. I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe. Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME. And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging. #StrandedInMoscow

@yriley1813 @Rainmaker1973 This is not an autonomous robot , but a robot controlled by human hands. We are very far away from robots being able to do anything like this on their own. These kind of technology has existed for about 30 years now and is in wide clinical use

@Rainmaker1973 True. Doctor hands are bigger than robot & they are more accurate unless they are low battery. Doctors are human, longer hours of surgery, get tired and sometimes make a mistake.

Prevention over panic. Science over stigma. India has cleared the nationwide rollout of a free HPV vaccination programme for adolescent girls to curb cervical cancer, one of the deadliest yet most preventable cancers affecting Indian women. This is not just a health scheme. It is a structural shift from late-stage treatment to early prevention. Tens of thousands of Indian women die every year from a disease that is largely preventable. This changes that trajectory. 👇

I will never understand how parents of young girls will deny Science and not give their daughters HPV because this virus only affects only immoral people and their kids won't be immoral. Bro, pls read up or trust your doc. But don't do this to your daughters.

The HPV vaccines are a danger to the society at large. For those who do not understand the sinister plans of the likes of Bill Gates, it may appear to be a good move but it appears that this vaccine is being pushed onto the India population cause they believe its cheap and nobody questions if a few people die. We should all voice our concerns over this.

The health Ministry in partnership with GAVI (founded by Bill Gates) has just recommended the Gardisil vaccine for “protection from HPV which causes cervical cancer”, despite manufacturer data ostensibly showing that the vaccine causes cancer at much higher rates than HPV!
Jessica Rojas 🇺🇸💪@VoicesUnheard

FDA approved Gardisil after reviewing data from Merck that showed Gardisil had a death rate 37x the death rate from cervical cancer itself. FDA = Fraudulent Drug Administration." From the book, HPV vaccine on trial by Judy Holland and friends. Still trust the FDA? Why would they fast track this vaccine onto the market knowing it killed at a rate 37x greater than cervical cancer? Read the book.

@DrGayaP1 Thank you for being one of the rare doctors, calling out the inadequacy of India's Vaccine injury reporting. AEFI was made by WHO. Lawyers are very unhappy even with USA 🇺🇸 VAERS, but it's still way better than India. High time India documents Vaccine injury seriously.

1.2 cr doses of HPV vax "every year" for all girls turning 14. This is abuse of otherwise healthy kids. Is our AEFI model robust enough to study the aftermath of this nation-wide campaign. Govt Schools are pushed by higher authorities to meet targets. Vaccinations happen without

@DrGayaP1 Whether HPV vaccine has been comprehensively studied by CDSCO and ICMR? Have we received their approval basis adequate clinical data as per prescribed norms or all innocent students are just going to be made subject for clinical studies ?

This is Himalaya Liv-52. Almost a household drug - claims to protect liver. A racket was busted which was making fake bottles and tablets of the product and pushing it into market. The fake tablets were manufactured from a factory in Sonipat while bottles and wrappers in Meerut, UP. Five people - Mayank Agrawal, Anup Garg, Tushar Thakur, Aakash Thakur and Nitin Tyagi have been arrested from Ghaziabad, UP.

@jeffreytucker I am glad I got it. I have had no side effects at all. I know lots of people who died from Covid. Some people have had side effects from Covid jabs and even died but they are far outnumbered by the deaths from Covid.

Most people I know who took the Covid shot either believe they were injured by it or suspect that they might have been. It's impossible to prove with so many migrating symptoms. Tracing every cause and effect is futile. Injury aside, I don't know anyone who is glad they got it.

@svembu Another doctor here. You are spreading deliberate misinformation in an area that you are completely ignorant in. Please stick to your area of expertise, or go to medical school for enlightenment. Just because you have a megaphone, it doesn’t mean you have to use it negatively.

I have met Professors of Immunology in reputed medical schools in the US who _15 years ago_ had serious reservations on the aggressive vaccine schedule but would tell you it was suicidal for them to speak up. A lot of doctors _in private_ would concur but given how much attack someone like me gets on this topic, they stay silent (I don't care about being attacked, I have been vaccinated (!) against personal attacks on me!). So I speak up also to give a voice to those _doctors_ who prefer to remain silent. We may need an org in India to give support to them so they can come out. Meanwhile do not be misled by "he is not a doctor, he has no right to talk about it". I do have the absolute right and I am a reasonably informed layman. This whole "stay in your lane" is arrogance and credentialism and I do not respect people who use that line. They are unlikely to be any good in their fields.

Unpopular opinion. The OCI card and its benefits should not be issued to people who have explicitly let go of Indian citizenship. Give it to foreign spouses of Indians, kids with Indian ancestry, etc, if you want to engage the diaspora. But not to people who spent time, effort and money to get rid of their Indian citizenship. This is the clearest signal possible that you have no loyalty to India. Those people need to get visas to visit/work in India, just like any foreigner.

Dear friends, an update and a request. A bit long, but stay with me. Since I have been actively educating the public on harms of pseudoscientific practices such as Ayurveda and Homeopathy, I have [in]arguably become India’s most litigated medical doctor and science communicator and the target of multiple civil and criminal defamation suits and police cases from Ayurveda & Homeopathy practitioners, companies and alternative medicine industry. The alternative medicine practitioners, manufacturers and industry as well as government regulators have never disproven my science-backed information that portray them as a public health danger through scientific deliberations. They have no evidence to show for the benefits they claim and have never provided scientific debates to prove me wrong. Through objective evidence generation, me and my team have always shown how dangerous alternative medicine products and practices are on the public and patients. To this extent, we have spent tens of lakhs of rupees from our own pockets to analyse and publish large body of evidence on AYUSH practices and liver damage in reputed journals. The only way the alternative medicine community knows how to respond, is to gag the science communicator through legal harassments and expensive litigations. They do this purposefully to drain me out of money. As a monthly salaried medical doctor, with debts, loans and EMIs, it is now difficult for me to handle these suits on my own - because the Ayurvedic community has been systematically targeting me with harassment litigations from all corners of the country, and most so, from my State, Kerala. I have kind and good lawyers who have provided me counsel pro-bono on many occasions, but some lawsuits take long time to come to their conclusion. And the number of lawsuits are building up. This means multiple hearings and lot of work from the lawyers including documentation, travel and representation and it is only right, that I pay them for their services. Until now, including the largest lawsuit that I am fighting out with Himalaya Company, I have spent around 16 lakh rupees (USD 18,700) over the last 4 years battling these legal suits and replying to legal notices from all over India. I don't fight health misinformation for myself, but for the people and for my patients. As a doctor, I do not confine myself to outpatient work and enjoy my life inside a comfortable bubble like most other practitioners do, instead, I get outside, on the ground and fight for my patients, their families and you, the people. My passion is public health education and promotion of scientific temper in the society so that we can progress as a strong nation. I understand that because of my work, alternative medicine industry has faced loss of business, but that was never my real focus. My focus was that person or that patient, who was not mislead into trying an unscientific practice and damaging their health or worsening their pre-existing disease. I win, we win, if we can save one life - If we can prevent one poor person's money loss because of what we do. In a country like India, poverty is just a hospital bill away and preventive medicine is the right way to go. In this context, for the time being, I am asking you, the public if you would like to be part of my battle against health misinformation and promotion of scientific temperament? If so, I will be happy and obliged if you can donate to this cause that impacts all of us and our future. For now, I have activated the "TIPS" facility on Twitter for your kind contributions and me and my team are looking to develop a platform where the public can contribute to legal battles - for science, and also towards public health projects under the banner of the society that I am part of - MESH (Mission for Ethics and Science in Healthcare). Even such platforms take time and money to develop. The TIPS feature is active at the top of my profile. I hope we can do this together. Unfortunately, it is just me, doing the "needful dirty" work, for a price to pay and I wish there were more "Liver Docs" to ease my burden. Maybe in the future. Below, are the current court cases that I am battling in various Courts due to defamation litigation from various Ayurveda industry, and their current status. I will update this post with more on existing cases outside Kerala and new cases as they come in. I hope I can count on your gracious monetary support. Thank you for reading this and for your support. Best, The Liver Doc.
