School where 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose was stabbed to death by a fellow pupil is ordered to improve after major safety failures Harvey Willgoose, 15, was stabbed through the heart with a hunting knife by 15-year-old Mohammed Umar Khan at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield on 3 February 2025. The entire confrontation lasted just nine seconds in front of pupils and teachers. Khan had a documented history of weapon interest he had previously brought a BB gun on a school trip, shown an axe to classmates, and kept one in his gym bag. A parent warned the school in October 2024 and Harvey himself told a teacher moments before the attack that Khan was “acting like he had a knife” but staff failed to act or search him. An independent review found the school missed multiple red flags, had poor record-keeping and didn’t follow government guidance on weapons and safeguarding. The Department for Education has now issued the trust with a formal notice to improve or risk losing funding. Khan was convicted of murder and sentenced to life with a minimum 16-year term.

🚨Angela Rayner has taken £197,500 in private donations labelled “for staffing costs” — £150,000 of which came from Refrigeration House Ltd — all paid into her new company. In the official Register she only declares: • Who gave it • How much • When • “Towards staffing” That’s literally it. She does not have to reveal: • How many extra staff it employs • What they’re paid • Tax, NI, holiday pay or sick pay • Or any spending breakdown whatsoever Her company (The Office of Angela Rayner Limited) was only incorporated on 22 January 2026. First accounts? Not due until 22 October 2027 — and even then, only a vague “staff costs” line plus average employee number. No full breakdown is required. This creates a 21-month black hole where the money could be spent on personal expenses, holidays, rent — whatever. This setup is wide open to misuse with virtually zero verification or audit. I’m not accusing Angela Rayner of any wrongdoing — only that it is not transparent at all. All this is on top of the full taxpayer-funded staffing budget she claims every year (currently over £113,000). We know exactly who donated the cash. @JamesCleverly What is the issue? They want to remove all foreign flags, including flags of countries we support since we can’t be selective. The UK has financially done a lot to support Ukraine so it’s not like removing a flag will change anything. This criticism is just silly.

A pre-inquest review has opened into the death of Peter Lynch, a 61-year-old grandfather imprisoned for peacefully protesting. Peter was handed a two-year-eight-month sentence for “violent disorder” after holding a placard outside a Rotherham asylum hotel in August 2024, highlighting government corruption, grooming scandals, and immigration failures. Despite poor health, diabetes, angina, and a recent heart attack he was locked up under Keir Starmer’s government. He was found hanged in HMP Moorland on 19 October 2024, just months into his term, hours after receiving what he believed was an unfair prison punishment notice. Critics call Peter a political prisoner crushed by two-tier policing. His family demands answers on mental health failures and the brutal sentencing of working class voices. Something deeply disturbing happened to me this morning. I received a notification that someone edited by Wikipedia. What did they change? They changed the word “Terrorist” describing the person who stabbed my brother in the neck and murdered him while he was shopping for his family to “Palestinian”. He made other changes to but that was the sickest of all. A terrorist murders a father of four for absolutely no reason whatsoever and this “editor” removes the word terrorist? Insane. The thing is, my Wikipedia gets vandalized so often that the founders had to lock it down so only very serious editors can change it. Whoever this person is, they are a serious Wikipedia editor, which makes it even more worrisome. What else is he changing? The truth is, whenever you search Wikipedia for any Israeli town and city, you will see how it is referred to as Palestinian land. I mean literally anywhere in Israel. As an example; if you go to the Tel Aviv Wikipedia page, want to take a guess how many times the word Palestinian appears on the page? 31! I know there’s a lot of talk about how Wikipedia has become anti Israel but not sure people know the extent of it. But this morning’s edit removing the word terrorist from the man who killed my brother was different level vile. More than 16,100 Britons have been arrested for speech-related offences over the past two years. Some police forces are up to 30 times more likely to arrest people for speech-related offences than others. Certain forces are making up to eight times more arrests than neighbouring constabularies, while in some areas people are being detained at around twice the national average. I can sense change in the air. A tsunami of public scrutiny is building, and the political class hasn’t seen it coming. I think they’re about to get flattened by it. The tax burden is at its highest level since the Second World War. Public services are visibly straining… and even disappearing. Debt servicing costs are eating a growing share of receipts. There’s a creeping, unshakeable sense across the country that something has gone badly wrong. People want answers. And they want them now. For decades, the deal has been pretty simple. We work hard and pay our taxes, and we trust the institutions to look after running the country so we can get on with our lives. However, that silent agreement has been totally broken. Especially now the state wants to insert itself in almost every facet of our lives. People are getting angry. Very angry. And not in a vague, shout-at-the-news way. In a specific, evidence-based, “I’m going to look at the data myself” way. This is a politician’s worst nightmare. What the political class seem not to have grasped. Not the MPs, not the ministers, not the senior civil service. The public now has the tools, the time, the access, and the will to actually check the work. And that’s what they’re doing. Annual accounts. Procurement records. Quango budgets. Consultant fees. Departmental headcounts. FOI responses. Hansard. Companies House. Local authority spending. It’s all out there. Most of it has been for years. Almost nobody was looking. The media has done a terrible job of digging. So now the public are doing the work themselves as they see how this country has been steered toward a cliff edge. Independent analysts. Retired professionals. Journalists with Substacks. Ordinary citizens with spreadsheets and a spare afternoon. They’re picking through it line by line. And they’re sharing what they find. Social media accounts, websites, apps, video channels, are all being created to share the latest disaster uncovered in the data. That the mainstream media has done a terrible job of covering. So far, the surface has barely been scratched. And what’s already emerging is genuinely staggering. Waste at a scale that would end careers in the private sector overnight. Decisions that defy basic competence. Spending that no rational person would attempt to defend. This is going to get a lot more uncomfortable for the people on the receiving end. A lot more. Because once the public starts looking, and they have, there’s no putting that genie back in the bottle. Every receipt, every contract, every appointment, every excuse will be examined and circulated. The era of spending other people’s money without anyone really watching is ending. The reckoning is just getting started.
