When, in the stock market: ▫️ Competence is measured by the number of articles written ▫️ “Being right” is measured by follower count ▫️ Arguments rely on “I know people with big money” / “big boys” and cheap flexing like “I don’t just go to Dubai” ▫️ Any deviation from this beaten path is seen as a status threat, followed by hysterics like “wage slaves,” “Greek god,” and – at the peak – a block This is behavior more fitting for an offended eight-year-old, not a professional with capital under management. Remember: every time you hit the follow button, you give the person you follow an illusion of strength. But strength is results. Words – even the ones that sound logical – mean nothing. But notice something: I don't make personal judgments about people I don't know. You do. Doesn't your tone feel a bit grandiose and, frankly, unnecessary? There are plenty of portfolio managers in the world, but the overwhelming majority are low-tier. That's not my opinion - that's what their returns, max drawdowns, Sharpe, and Sortino ratios say. I have the guts to run a public portfolio every single day because my results come from math and common sense, not from narratives or imagination. If you're so confident, why don't you do the same? And yes - I don't seek to "learn from others." It might sound arrogant, but you learn from the best... and here's the nuance: I simply don't have anyone left to learn from. So I improve through my own system - refining it and myself. About Dubai - in my previous message I sent you a list of posts everyone should read at least once. Take a look at the last one.
