2 of my friends quit private equity this month. A big part of my circle works in pe, and most of them are slowly realizing the job is nothing like what they were sold, the hours are brutal, the work is unfulfilling, and the money isn't what everyone outside thinks it is. The real money in pe is carry, and carry is designed to keep you there. It grows the longer you stay, vests over years, and only pays out when funds exit, close to a decade in. Walk away early and you forfeit everything that hasn't vested, and even the part that has is money you'll wait years to actually see. So every year you stay, leaving gets more expensive. You only make the money once you're already burned out. That's why quitting is the hard move. My friends left not because they couldn't handle it, but because they realized there are other ways to get the lifestyle they actually want, without doing unfulfilling work for a decade first. I'm happy I get to build instead. The upside is yours, and it's honestly so much more fun.

Abrir una cuenta bancaria fue un proceso de la hostia La "carga administrativa" en Dubái durante todo el tiempo que estuve allí fue para volverse loco Pero más allá de eso, el juego social en Dubái puede ser muy raro Hice amigos para toda la vida como @liamottley_, con quien luego viví en Medellín y en Madrid, pero cuando la mayoría de la gente en tu ciudad no vive allí todo el año, todo se convierte en un dilema del prisionero a corto plazo Las interacciones sociales se vuelven más de "agarra y corre": "¿qué me puedes dar TÚ AHORA?" Me fui a Buenos Aires todo el primer trimestre de 2024 y me encantó (ciudad increíble - id a visitarla) Allí conocí a varios amigos irlandeses míos que viven normalmente en Barcelona, y quise echarle un ojo para ver si podía ser incluso mejor que Madrid Así que me fui dos meses a BCN al volver de Buenos Aires Ciudad guay, pero no es para mí (podría ser otro post) Luego me fui un fin de semana improvisado a Madrid a ver a alguien, y en cuanto llegué a la estación de tren sentí que exhalaba un suspiro de alivio Mientras caminaba por las calles, volvieron todos los sentimientos de antes y supe al instante que era donde tenía que estar A veces simplemente sabes algo con total certeza Y así me volví, y no he mirado atrás desde entonces Supongo que hay varias lecciones aquí: Escúchate a ti mismo y no seas un borrego Vive las cosas por ti mismo - no seas negativo desde la distancia, ve a verlas antes de opinar El instinto casi siempre tiene razón Dubái es obviamente un sitio increíble, pero que no te encasillen en creer que es el siguiente paso lógico solo porque hayas empezado a irte bien Cualquier pregunta hacédmela - respondo todas 🤝

Honestly , way to scale in 2026 is with a creator army. 300-400 of them. Thats it. No AI ads compare with real nasty UGC ad.

Just the image and then we do avatar tests for core desire, mechanism, and belief shift Once you test a few things a few times though you don’t need to consistently test them E.g. if you’ve figured out the simplest way to explain your mechanism then there’s no point in testing it again in new ads

Not sure how much more documenting of the journey I’ll be doing Kinda blissful just stacking rev and MRR and keeping it stealth Just know we’re eating GOOD rn

Dropped a new ad into the account yesterday, with great metrics including a 12.8% outbound CTR CPM is the highest of all our ads - $266 Are there any triggers for high CPMs when meta scans your ads and landers? Has anyone ever gotten CPM down by removing these?
