@BBolander The tv show, Banshee, with Anthony Start (pre-Homelander) was not only fantastic, it also NEVER revealed the main characters ACTUAL name and backstory.

This recent obsession with backstories and leaving no mystery/mysterious character left flayed on the table bugs me to no end

@ashleylynch The closest instances I can think of are American Pie (Stifler: Rubber Dicks for everyone!) and Deadpool (Vanessa: Happy Women’s Day). Otherwise GTA and Saints Row used them as weapons. Deliberately ignoring Se7en because I think the victim was a woman, not a guy/villain.
