Barnaby Joyce has finally stopped pretending. Now he’s aligned with Pauline Hanson and pushing “abolish the climate department” nonsense. That’s not policy. It’s climate denial cosplay.👇🏽

Whether Anthony Albanese is considered the worst prime minister in Australia’s history is a subjective question that depends on how leadership is measured and compared across different time periods.

New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show that inflation ticked up as expected in the month of March largely because of global pressures. These numbers show Australians are paying a hefty price for war in the Middle East. These are the costs and consequences of a conflict on the other side of the world. It’s another reminder that from an economic point of view, an enduring end to the war can’t come soon enough.

We’re building a fairer, more resilient economy. One that gives every Australian a fair go, helps businesses thrive and builds on our national strengths. That’s the message I delivered to the Chamber of Minerals and Energy in WA today.

BREAKING: We've just secured another 200M litres of diesel. This brings the total additional diesel secured in the last seven days to approximately 300M litres. We’re doing everything we can to help secure more fuel for Australians.

@JEChalmers @AustralianLabor How’s that a deduction?? It’s just legalising a fraud? If you’ve spent on a taxable deductible item then why not keep the receipt. You lot are idiots - oh that’s right your voters like to pay cash!!

Labor's instant tax deduction will allow workers to knock $1,000 off their taxable income, without providing receipts, when they lodge their 2026-27 tax return. This is tax reform and a bit of extra tax relief at the same time, with a maximum saving of $470, and an average saving of $205. We’re releasing draft legislation today for consultation, to get this into parliament and deliver. This will help workers cut back on the paperwork and save them time and money at tax time.

THE FACTS: New IMF data shows that under Labor Australia has surged up global rankings for best budget management to have one of the three strongest balances in the G20. This is up from 14th under the Liberals and Nationals in 2021. People are under real pressure as a result of the conflict in the Middle East but thanks to the progress Australians have made together in our economy, we’re well placed and well prepared to confront it.

@RealMarkLatham @Iam_Dan_ Nobody asked him to kill people who posed no threat. He allegedly murdered innocent civilians. He had no right to do this on behalf of our country. We can't lose our moral code

Under its new leadership, the Australian Federal Police have lost the plot. Instead of policing Sajid and Naveed Akram, the Bondi terrorists, they have been preparing a brief of evidence against a VC winner who risked his life for his country, Ben Roberts Smith. It’s a national disgrace, another sign of our national decline.

Labor's Chris Bowen has kept the country flush with fuel, meaning that the ceasefire should immediately drop the prices at the bowser. Price drops happening quickly will therefore be a direct result of Chris Bowen's hard work. Diesel will be the last to drop, due to farm demand

Australia is not approved to ship oil through the straits of Hormuz, unlike China, South Africa, Italy, India, Pakistan, & France. We are excluded because the ALP supports the war mongering criminal israel & USA's war. Remember this the next time you vote. @AlboMP @SenatorWong
