@dissidentwest It's real, but it only started happening to me after getting in better shape and after a particularly intense session. It feels similar to codeine.

No one can convince me that the “runner’s high” isn’t a myth. I’ve played sports my entire life and never once experienced anything close to it.

Joe Rogan just took time out of his podcast to express genuine concern for his friend Theo Von. He admitted that some of Von’s recent behavior after getting on SSRIs “freaks me out” — especially his comments about suicide. ROGAN: “Theo Von’s going through the exact same thing and last time he was on the podcast he was explaining it to me.” “It freaks me out because I know Theo has had conversations before...like even publicly.” “He had a Netflix taping and it didn’t go well. It was like they actually never...they shelved it. They never used it.” “And you know there was all these stories from people that were there saying he bombed. I think he just had a kind of a breakdown.” “And when he was talking to the crowd and there’s a video of it, he said, you know, the people were saying, hey, we still love you.” “He goes, thank you. Look, I’m just I’m trying not to take my own life.” “And like you hear stuff like that and you just go like, oh, Jesus Christ.” “I’ve known too many people that I didn’t think were going to kill themselves and then did.” “And then he goes down these spirals where he starts talking about world events and freaking out. I’m like, oh, Jesus Christ! Like, I got to help this dude.”

@Cernovich I thought the "Joe is compromised" stuff was kinda dumb and that if anything Joe is just suffering from success, getting complacent and doesn't want controversy. After this clip I'm not so sure. Something really off about this.

This guy is such a lying fucking retard We’re supposed to believe that Dalton suddenly decided to murder a guy who meant him no harm, right in front of the courthouse? “But it’s facts” fuck you. Why do 500+ people who I follow, follow this guy?
0HOUR1@0hour1

See the word Thereafter Read it Chud reached for his weapon Then the guy attacked Now, under Tennessee law, the other guy was also entitled to use force. Chud's biggest fuckup was reaching for that gun during the argument. You can spin it anyway you want, but it's facts.

@the_transit_guy I think if you let in the lowest common denominator for free your paying clientele will leave and your business will fail and that's just the natural order of things, actually.

I think a private organization wanting kids to learn about marine life and animal conservation regardless of whether their parents can afford it is a great thing, actually,

The Monterey Bay Aquarium charges $295 for a family membership or $125 for a single adult. With an EBT card, entry is free — and up to four guests get in free every visit. There is a ZERO incentive for these people to ever get off Food Stamps.

I don’t know how anyone in LA can look at the current situation we’re in by electing an inexperienced reality tv star that is crippling the global economy with his incompetence and think “we should do that but at the local level”

The most tragic metaphor for Britain. A nation slowly drowning in its own blood, handcuffed by the state, while our killers roam free unscrutinized for fear of being called racist.
VoxPopuli@vpopulimedia

🇬🇧 Henry Nowak, 18, "drowned in his own blood" as he lay cuffed and passed out on the street. He was stabbed multiple times by Vikrum Digwa, 23, with an 8-inch Sikh ceremonial knife. When the police arrived, Nowak was arrested instead, after Digwa accused him of racial abuse.

First one. Nothing will make you feel like a prey animal like trying to work at your desk with your back to the door. That was my teenage bedroom and I genuinely believe it did permanent psychological damage to me.

Yale School of Medicine Has a total of 553 students across All four classes. Total Black students: 44. That’s ~10 per class. Total Asian students: 157. That’s ~40 per class. There are nearly as many Asian students PER CLASS as there are Black students in the entire school. Black: 14% of America. Only 7% of Yale Med Asian: 7% of America. 28% of Yale Med. Who exactly is getting discriminated against here ? aamc.org/media/6131/dow…

At Yale Medical School, a black applicant is 29 times more likely to be invited to interview than an Asian with equally strong academics.   Today, @CivilRights told Yale that its use of race in admissions is ILLEGAL—and that @TheJusticeDept will step in to enforce Title VI. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…
