At Golders Green today, The King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks. During his time at the Jewish Care centre in North-West London, The King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack that took place in the area on 29th April 2026. His Majesty also met community police force, Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks.

May is Jewish Heritage Month, and I want to recognize the Jews in Markham-Thornhill and across Canada who make up an essential part of our society. It has been a difficult time for Jewish Canadians, and I stand with you against hate and antisemitism - while using the Month of May as an opportunity to celebrate the great things about Jewish life in Canada.

The firebombing of London’s Kenton United Synagogue is a chilling reminder of a growing pattern of violence - some with direct links to Iran's Islamic Regime - aimed at intimidating and harming Jewish communities and the Iranian diaspora. These threats are not confined to one country. Here in Canada, community institutions and businesses have also been violently attacked. Governments at all levels have a responsibility to act: to strengthen protections for vulnerable communities and to confront the sources of this violence before more lives are put at risk.

🔔As a clarification🔔 because it is becoming clear some people are taking this clip way too far and way out of any level of context (I’ll take some of the blame for the latter): This was not a private event; the restaurant was open to the public, and this is a professional aerialist who regularly performs at the restaurant and is not connected to the event or the Liberal Party. The majority of the people you see watching the performance are just regular patrons, save for the one woman at the front of the frame, who I believe was a convention attendee but isn’t even watching the performance. Now go forth with this newfound context and knowledge and be more normal.
