There are quite a few scholarships specifically reserved for both UG & PG students from Gaza across a few UK universities. There are not many but see scholarshipsads.com/category/count… palestinefoundation.org.uk/resources/schobritishcouncil.ps/en/study-uk/sc… And see university websites re specific scholarships
Haitham in Gaza 🇵🇸🍉@HaithamElmasri1

All British universities refuse our admission to their master's scholarships just because we are only from Palestine.💔

Iranian Professor Marandi: “ISIS was created by your regime. Al-Qaeda was created by your regime. The head of Al-Qaeda went to the White House — the same organization you say carried out 9/11. So how are we supposed to know who the terrorists are, based on your standards?”

My friend @s_m_marandi is facing threats against his life because he dares to speak out. Nevermind the fact that it's often times the Western press that asks for his perspective. I stand in solidarity with Professor Marandi. @Support needs to step in here.

A stray bullet hit my sweet daughter in the head while she was playing at home. She desperately needs your prayers. I urge everyone to stop this senseless act of aerial firing. Such reckless behavior can take someone’s life.

Because he couldn’t access proper diabetes treatment, Hussein’s lower leg was amputated. Since then,HELP: chuffed.org/project/113222… the pain hasn’t just been physical, it’s taken a deep toll on his mental health. He and his elderly wife are struggling to survive in a makeshift shelter, without the basic supplies needed to care for his wound or protect them from the elements. Every day is a battle for her to move him, to be her husband’s caretaker. They urgently need a proper tent and support to get through this unimaginable hardship. Donate to our Shelter, Goods, and Activities Campaign to help this family and others in dire need of shelter. Other ways to donate include: paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Shelter") account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Ali (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Shelter")

This Eid was not like any other Eid. We did not buy clothes for ourselves, we did not visit anyone, and there was no home for us to gather in like we used to every year. But despite everything, thanks to God and then thanks to you, we were able to create small moments of joy in the middle of all this pain. The story began when we were able to carry out our first initiative by distributing dates, then the Eid cookies initiative, followed by distributing financial assistance to families, then shoes for children who were walking barefoot in the camp, then food baskets for families, and finally Eid chocolates for the children. Six initiatives, and each initiative felt like a small Eid on its own. If you could have seen the joy of the children receiving shoes, the happiness of the families receiving food baskets, and their smiles as they received Eid cookies and chocolates, you would have known that what you gave was not just aid — it was real joy, dignity, and hope. You did not just donate money, you created happiness, you brought comfort to tired hearts, and you made people feel that someone is standing with them, that they are not alone. We hope you will continue supporting us, because with you, after God, we can continue, help more families, and create new joy on the faces of children who no longer have much of childhood left. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for not leaving us alone. Thank you for giving us an Eid despite everything🙏🤍❤ chuffed.org/project/149470 paypal.me/NizarAlmasre

I returned and found my children soaked in rainwater🥲. The rain had soaked all their clothes and bedding. This is not life; we are suffering the effects of genocide. Speak up for us. We want mobile homes. Share this. Tell the world about our rights.

Ragged Trousered Philanderer
“It was decided and carried out. They washed her, cut her hair, raped her and killed her” Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion wrote this in his 1949 diary. The story of how 20 Israeli soldiers gang raped a 13 year old Palestinian girl for 3 days, by rota, and then shot her.

I saw this at the Financial Times. British establishment journalists have been indoctrinated—starting young at elite private schools—with the views needed to oversee the propaganda system Many have literally never had an independent thought. What they do is spout received wisdom So when someone probes one of their ideas it falls apart because they’ve learnt it by rote - there has been no conscious processing of information. They believe something, but don’t know why. They’ve just heard some authority say it The top echelons of British journalism industry are, consequently, some of the most unimpressive people on the planet. Anyone capable of independent thought - and critical analysis outside the confines of establishment shibboleths - is filtered out very early

After I put out my video yesterday, this is what I saw whist scrolling on my newsfeed. Read the comment below, in the photo. “Never a mass shooter around when you want one.” This photo is of Eid in the Park yesterday, in my city. As the Leader of this city I am outraged. This is an example of what Muslim communities will now have to face, day in, day out because of comments made by Conservative politicians like @NJ_Timothy & @KemiBadenoch When people in responsible positions make hateful statements against a faith group, it normalises such behaviour in wider society. The trickle down effect can be seen below. The Tories should be ashamed of themselves and I have reported the below person to the constabulary.

As millions of Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr, they do so with heavy hearts. Across regions such as Sudan, Gaza, the West Bank, and Iran, Muslims are enduring immense hardship and loss. These difficult circumstances have unfolded even during the blessed month of Ramadan ../1

This is a reprehensible post for X to allow, targeting @s_m_marandi and putting a bounty on him. It is also a "Paid partnership." Imagine the outcry if a pro-Palestinian or pro-Iranian group did this with Israelis or Americans. Criminal charges would be filed.

Islamophobic graffiti (F*ck Islam) was painted or sprayed onto the grass at Streetly Cemetery in Walsall. The crime was reported to the council who cleaned it up. Britain is experiencing unprecedented levels of Islamophobia whipped up by mainstream politicians and media.
