Really loving how this feature cards are coming along!
My whole goal with this was not to flood the case study with text. I wanted to lead with imagery.
But I also wanted to provide context about my design decisions.
I love how it leads with the image first and then upon hover it becomes live and active.
What do you think?

@BrettFromDJ Where does AI fit in your process for creating design systems?
I am experimenting, using Cursor and the Figma MCP it can generate tokens and a design system within Figma but I am still trying to dial in the process.
Would appreciate your thoughts on this!

Boston felt like the right place for us to open an office because Massachusetts has a practical view of AI. It’s about using AI to solve real problems rather than just building the technology, which is something Gov. Maura Healey has spoken about clearly.

there's one element of my design workflow today that I definitely did not see coming... a year ago I thought I would be making a (functional) mess in code and then dialing in the details in Figma turns out the opposite thing happened? instead I typically start by ideating with Claude inside of @paper maybe I'll make some manual tweaks but more often I'm simply getting to a rough concept that feels directional correct the canvas has become my whiteboard and the output is rarely any higher fidelity than the example video above 🤷♂️ at this point I have Claude quickly scaffold the concept I like the most and start to dial in the details in code two tools I use constantly: 1) Agentation 2) DialKit that combo move speeds up frontend iteration immensely also Claude is SO good at extrapolating styles. Sometimes I say things like "use our tertiary button styles but extrapolate the inner shadows to make them higher contrast for this large card" and it freaking works not only that but the way I use inner shadows, border rings, etc. takes forever to create manually (or forever to create a system large enough to not be rigid in Figma). I'm genuinely faster in code which I never saw coming. dialing in the visuals in code also brings motion and interaction details into the process. how things move and feel is now 100% included in "UX Design" finessing in code gives me wayyy more control than I've ever had as a designer

✨I built a subscription tracker with the best import on the market, so users don’t have to enter everything manually. It’s fast and works really well, so I plan to let users try it before buying PRO in upcoming updates.
