@RickCarusoLA No, Rick. Nashville is great because of state Republican leadership and policy. You are seriously hopeless.

Nashville is what Los Angeles could be with the right leadership. A citywide wave of investment, new housing, and retail development is driving an economic boom and job growth here. The result is a high quality of life: safe, clean streets, no encampments blocking sidewalks, and genuine urban energy that attracts both businesses and residents. Nashville’s success isn’t an accident—it’s the product of disciplined, long-term leadership and smart policy.

The rise of Christianity within Rome weakened the empire’s traditional martial fabric, softened the resolve of its men, diminished the conquering spirit that had built its power, and disrupted the civic framework that had sustained Roman glory. It ultimately left the empire vulnerable to barbarian invasion and internal decay.

Eunapius – late 4th century AD – Lives of the Philosophers and Sophists (fragments) “Men who once bore arms and governed cities now waste away in idleness, consuming the wealth of the empire under pretense of piety.” ——— Augustine of Hippo – 413–426 AD – City of God, Book I (Quoting the pagan accusation he was responding to) “The present calamity has happened because we have forsaken our gods and embraced the Christian religion.” ——— Ammianus Marcellinus – c. 390 AD – Res Gestae, Book 22 “The Christian religion… has been so complicated by the madness of contentious men that it is now little else than a source of dissension.”

@ToLiveInBloom @brycehenson_us @mcgillmd921 It's hilarious when anyone blames *anything* that applies equally to both the Eastern and Western Empire. "Barbarisation" of the army, non-Romans as citizens, lead pipes, luxury, slavery. If it doesn't meet what I call "the East/West test", it doesn't work.

The unfathomable reality many won't accept: Most of the girls, if not all, were willing participants. Many returned to the island multiple times on their own accord. They got paid, and some even became recruiters themselves. Chauntae Davies, introduced her younger sister Teala to Epstein, leading to Teala's abuse at 17. They all victimized out, signed NDA's, and are now richer than any of us.

🚨BREAKING: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna reveals how new charges could be brought against Jeffrey Epstein's Co-Conspirators and Suspected Clients after Viewing UNREDACTED Files.. "What is apparent is that he was using his victims grooming them to become traffickers but at a certain point it begs the question if you are knowingly as an adult engaging in potentially the trafficking or more nefarious acts with children resulting in bodily harm are you no longer a victim and become a co-conspirator... There are certain statute of limitations at which the DOJ might not be able to prosecute...however If they use the Civil Rights statute they can to my knowledge bring forward prosecutions." Q: How would a prosecution work? Can we get a single person to suffer a single consequence? "Right now again we have not received names from the DOJ..right now we can go and look at some of the files but ultimately this entire prosecution would have to come out of the DOJ...there is statute of limitations but if they consider using the Civil Rights statute and work with some of the victims they may be able to bring it forward....Who exactly knew what? If the victims can come forward and provide direct testimony... at least hearing what the victims have to say and see if they can bring forward criminal prosecution under the Civil Rights statute trafficking is covered by that."

I’ve done my fair share of calling out the local GOP. But in my view, grassroots activists, especially those who want to run for office, need to move into these systems, work with them to a degree, and learn from the patriots already there. I have plenty of complaints too, but we can’t do this alone, and a coalitionist attitude is the only way to defeat the left. If you want to run for office, speaking this way about people who could help you, is unwise, and there’s a lot to be gained by engaging, learning, and working together.

I gave this tip to Amy because I was SDFR for 20 years and the hospital staff trusts me... She ran with it and exposed it... Thank you Amy. I quickly learned she was not on my team or ours after giving her Fraud Tips. This isn't a hard business... you credit your sources like @IanCarrollShow. Amy is most likely planned opposition like i said a year ago. She has stolen my tips and promoted herself. She's not anyone I would consider an aly and shunned her for a reason. She does good work that will tug on your heart strings for clicks. I don't think she gives a shit about us. Google her and everyone else in SD. WE ARE ON OUR OWN PATRIOTS!🫡🇺🇸

🚨 Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev Says California is ‘Becoming an Increasingly More Difficult Place to do Business’ “The fiscal health not good. I think it's a structural problem. I don't think one time taxes will fix the problem … We pay so much in taxes, and the schools and the infrastructure are mediocre at best.”

Antifa actually gets taxpayer money indirectly through government grants and relief programs funneled to affiliated or aligned groups and individuals. For example, the Oregon Health Authority awarded $145,000 in federal funds to Snack Bloc, a Portland group tied to Antifa activities that provided supplies during protests and occupations. Another case involves an identified Antifa-linked individual receiving over $100,000 in taxpayer-funded COVID relief grants and loans, allowing continued activism without traditional work. These flows often come via nonprofits with tax-exempt status or federal programs, as highlighted in investigations by groups like the Government Accountability Institute tracing millions to radical protest networks.

Do you think SF only had beards for cultural reasons? It was also to keep us from being identified, given the up close nature of who we were killing and capturing, combined with AQ global reach. You know shit about fuck lady. P.s- why was a balaclava standard CT gear for decades?

When I joined the Navy, I took an oath. Marines, Airmen, Soldiers, police officers, firefighters, and thousands of other public servants take similar oaths. The difference between how we uphold that oath and ICE officers? We serve with our faces unmasked, because we're not afraid of who we're serving and how we're doing it.

Many Democrats rightly warn about Trump trying to secure a third term. Yet here in San Diego, Democrats are floating ways to extend their own power. The County Administrator should stay non-partisan, and two-term limits are the norm across CA. This is a bad idea. This proposal shouldn’t even see daylight. Politicizing a historically non-partisan County Administrator invites patronage, chaos, and short-term decision-making. Two-term limits are standard across CA for a reason: to prevent power entrenchment. While Democrats warn about Trump chasing a third term, some here want to normalize it locally. That’s not reform — it’s erosion.
Lisa Halverstadt@LisaHalverstadt

.@SanDiegoCounty Board Chair Terra Lawson-Remer is floating possible reforms that could extend term limits for supervisors including herself and make the county’s top manager an elected official, creating a county mayor. voiceofsandiego.org/2026/02/04/sup…
