@RepLuna Does he get to keep his benefits for serving in the House? Why not go ahead with expulsion procedures?

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
I have been contacted by Swalwell’s office and informed that he will be submitting his letter of resignation shortly, with an effective date of Friday, so that he may transfer his staff and office administratively to the House Clerk. I am hearing the same will be done regarding Gonzalez. I have my motion to expel ready to go and am waiting on his official letter. Once I receive it, I will formally withdraw my motion. We want to ensure the staff is taken care of, therefore, I will be accepting the letter once it is sent.

@RoKhanna You are part of coverup by projecting the adult female who was paid $200 to bring Epstein a 14 year old girl to abuse while she waited by the pool. Why are you not encouraging the Epstein victims to name their abusers like the Swalwell victims are doing?

Sat down for Jubilee with Americans who are demanding answers on the Epstein coverup. We will not get justice for survivors without standing up to the powerful few who have stood in the way of accountability.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow

Q: It's not just been a refusal to obey the law, it's been flagrant. The law you passed said all the files had to be released by December 19th. Did not happen. The law said you couldn't redact for political reasons. We had the redactions of Donald Trump's name. What will you do about that? Rep. @RoKhanna: We've given the DOJ every benefit of the doubt. They have overly redacted files where the survivors have given names to the FBI. There has been no investigation and prosecution

@RoKhanna @PaulRieckhoff @FmrRepMTG @RepRoKhanna @indy_americans Ro, with the emergence of the Swalwell victims, it is encouraging that they are actively naming him and detailing what happened to the media and authorities. Why aren't you encouraging the Epstein victims to do the same so their abusers can be brought to justice?

Welcome to the future of American politics, @FmrRepMTG. Especially for/with young people. You’re right about that. @RepRoKhanna was on my show earlier this month to discuss it—and if he’d leave the Democrat party. I invite you to join me on @indy_americans to do the same. The seal is finally breaking on the duopoly—and maybe you and @RepRoKhanna can help us lead the way.
POLITICO@politico

.@FmrRepMTG says she is thinking “pretty deeply” about changing her party affiliation to independent and building a new bipartisan political coalition. “I think that's where many Americans are leaning,” she told our @DashaBurns on #TheConversation. 🎧 politi.co/4tI2Smz

Corrections and context for accuracy: • Both Starlink and Amazon use electronically steered phased-array antennas on planes with no moving parts. Starlink solved the mechanical gimbal issue years ago...Amazon didn’t uniquely fix it. • Starlink’s current aviation speeds are typically 135–350 Mbps (peaks often 450–500+ Mbps) in real flights, not the outdated 220 Mbps quoted. The “4.5× better” claim doesn’t hold up. • Amazon’s advertised 1 Gbps is the total bandwidth for the entire plane (one antenna)...shared by all passengers + crew via Wi-Fi. It is not per person. On a full flight with everyone streaming, speeds get divided significantly.

Amazon spent $10 billion to put 200 satellites in orbit. Starlink has 10,000. And Amazon just landed Delta, JetBlue, and Airbus anyway. The antenna explains why. This thing is 58 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 2.6 inches tall. A phased array with no moving parts. Full-duplex, meaning 1 Gbps down and 400 Mbps up simultaneously. One antenna covers an entire commercial aircraft. Every seat, every class, gate to gate. Starlink's aviation antenna tops out at 220 Mbps. Amazon's does 1 Gbps. That's 4.5x the throughput from a company with 2% of the satellites. The engineering constraint most people miss: inflight wifi has always been limited by the antenna on the plane, not the constellation in the sky. Geostationary satellites had plenty of bandwidth. The bottleneck was a mechanical dish on the fuselage trying to track a signal while moving at 575 mph through turbulence and temperature swings. Amazon solved that with an electronically steered array. No gimbal, no motor, no maintenance. Install it in a day, forget about it for a decade. And here's where the business model becomes clear. The antenna connects directly to AWS. No public internet routing. Delta's operational data, crew communications, passenger streaming, real-time AI analytics from seatback to cloud with private network interconnect. Starlink sells you a wifi pipe. Amazon sells you infrastructure. United has 800 Starlink planes. IAG committed 500. Lufthansa committed 850. Collectively, thousands of aircraft locked into Starlink's ecosystem. Amazon looked at that and decided: we'll take fewer airlines but own the entire data layer underneath them. Delta's 500 planes running on AWS through Leo is worth more to Amazon than 5,000 planes on commodity wifi. The $10 billion on satellites was never the product. The antenna was the product. And the antenna is a trojan horse for AWS.

More Giga Texas construction underway today, with the 1s 2 images showing the River Rd extension, storm water pond, and the beginnings of grade work & materials relocations for the new Advanced Technology chip fabrication building. On the far SW side of the site, the new Test Track has had all driving surfaces prepared for asphalt application, which should begin later this week! I think this track looks like a lot of fun!

Creating fear porn and crying wolf does not serve the AI industry well. Maybe Anthropic actually believed what they were selling, in which case the naivety, if you can charitably call it that, is astounding. At a minimum, they need a few circumspect adults in the room that are detached enough from the financial outcome to help make these decisions in the future.
The All-In Podcast@theallinpod

Chamath: Anthropic's Mythos Warning Is Theater @Jason: “Chamath, is it the Boy who Cried Wolf, or is this the real deal now?” @Chamath: “I think it's mostly theater. In February of 2019 when Dario was still at OpenAI, they did the same thing with GPT-2. That was a 1.5 billion parameter model, which sounds like a total fart in the wind in 2026. But at that time, this model was supposed to be the end of days. And at the end of it, it was a huge nothingburger. If you actually think that Mythos is capable of doing what it says it can do, two things are true. One is, a very sophisticated hacker can probably do those things right now with Opus. And two, if these exploits are this easy to find, whether you use Opus or whether you use Mythos, the reality is you'd have to shut down the internet for about five years to patch them all. So when you see a large multi-trillion dollar GSIB bank, it's a bit of theater. Why? What do you think they can actually accomplish in two months? Do you actually think that if there's these vulnerabilities, it's all going to get fixed? Let's give them six months, let's give them nine months. So I do think that Sacks is right, that they have figured out a very clever go-to-market muscle here that activates hyper attention and hyper usage, and so I give them tremendous credit. But we've seen it before, we saw it when these folks were the principal architects at OpenAI, and we're now seeing the same playbook here. The reality is that capitalism moves forward, the funding needs moves forward, and the need for these guys to build adoption moves forward. And that's going to supersede what this is.”

When I was younger and bought my house I painted accent walls bright colors. As I grew up I realized they were just a little too bright so I repainted with calmer tones. It made my whole house look better and more refined… This is the car interior equivalent
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

This is our first real look at the new Zen Grey interior in the Giga Shanghai built Model Y. Maybe a hot take, but I like this much more than the (now discontinued) White interior. The Zen Grey gives a slightly warmer/softer tone without leaning too much into a creamy color.

The DNC just passed a resolution condemning dark money. That’s a start, but not enough. Billionaire-funded super PACs—AIPAC, AI, crypto & others—are spending hundreds of millions to defeat any candidate who crosses them. They should be banned from Democratic primaries. Period.

1) Ro does not own nor trade any stock. If the congressional stock trading ban — which he is leading to pass — was signed into law tomorrow, his wife's trust (which has underperformed the market) would comply. 2) These tech bros don’t like him — and want to kill any 2028 buzz — so they are smearing him by trying to tie him to a trust *for his young children* that neither he nor his wife trades in. Ro is fair game. If he’s actually fucked up in the past, by all means slam him for it. But going after his wife and kids is just gross.
Chamath Palihapitiya@chamath

The sad thing is that Ro is the guy preaching for socialism while he is the most active insider trader in Congress. He is a terrible representative of Silicon Valley.

I enjoyed my chat with Hank Green. Three years ago, AI leaders, including Elon Musk, warned we were moving too fast and even called for a pause. Nobody listened. @AOC and I are saying the same thing: slow it down and make sure AI works for people — not just billionaires.
