@lswoogie Its challenging tbh, building the product AND getting the subscription, billing, onboarding workflows dialed in. I spent the past week working on billing management myself and landing pages after doing everything manually.

GudoCam just hit its first $100. Now it’s time to turn that into $100 MRR.

@MartinGTobias *what to think of that Although tbh typo's are now more endearing, means less likely to be AI generated lol

@ehsanik Agreed. I never liked the old "prompt engineering" mentality of feeding an agent like 3-4 paragraphs of obscure text to get desired results. It felt like a bad mix of human language and code . I'd rather agent interfaces be more human like and code stay precise.

This might be a hot take, but I'm a big believer that current form of asking users to write down prompts is not the way human-AI interaction should look like. • People should not have to write prompts! • People should not have to think about what they can / can not delegate to AI! • AI should help people rather than being a burden. This is the first step of a very exciting journey! Can't wait to share more soon!

New in Claude Cowork: teach Claude a skill. Record your screen while you do a task, talk through it as you go, and Claude turns it into a skill it can run again. Find it under Record a skill in the + menu of the Claude desktop app. Available on Pro, Max, and Team plans.

@levelsio What lacking a 1st amendment does to MF's. To be fair; the states have had alot of censorship battles. It required enough lawsuit victories to create the legal precedent that makes censorship harder roday. The people versus Larry Flynt etc...

@yacineMTB @itsnoahd It won't matter unless they dont remove the excessive nerfing. People will just use kimi or codex so we don't keep getting downgraded for mundane and common tasks.

@thdxr Maybe we can get an answer from the CEO himself @mntruell is cursor a good example of what @thdxr is talking about? its a pretty big AI centric app that targets both consumers and companies. Big user base.

@lswoogie Is there any way you can modify your feature offering to free users to make it more sustainable e.g. free trial gets x features for 7 days but on upgrade you get x,y,z full feature set. Which features are the most expensive to support? I'd consider gating those.

Thinking about removing the 7-day introductory offer. But what if conversion drops to zero? Builders, how do you think about this kind of pricing trade-off?

@thdxr A lot of VC only fund B2B so B2B is all that keeps getting built. I do see alot of cool things being made outside the B2B space but its mostly boot strapped.

we're in a time where it feels like every company is being reduced to an api switching products is easier than ever with the help of AI and yet the majority of companies being founded are B2B

@LitianaPaeniu @gailcweiner Agreed. I also find written word to be more efficient in relaying precise instructions. Its really annoying trying to get transcribed phrases to have the correct punctuation and sentence structure.

@bomberfish77 Digital preservation is one of the more moral uses of coding agents. It benefits the greater public that these works remain open and available. Still takes skill and guidance to make it good.

Startups should be hard, involve lots of hours in and heroic effort, but should be fun. A lot of people asked me about this post and my honest take is that this is not at all corgi’s culture or the way I think startups should be built, and don’t think this attitude leads to maximum output.

@yacineMTB @csgbwk Its shockingly patronizing with the "safety" downgrades on the most mundane things possible. Want to fix a bug that involves permissions? oops, might be security related, switching to Opus. Codex actually works without this bs constant finger waging.

Sol is a real jump for me. Fable does the same thing as other models but much better, I don't have the kind of super hard problems it's good at (my hard problems get flagged for safety). Sol is incredible at tinkering, reverse engineering and overall it's making my whole computer ai powered in the same way Sonnet 3.6 made my programming workflow truly ai powered.
Sam Altman@sama

5.6 sol growth is insane. the inference team has done heroic work to be able to support demand. we are going to move mountains to continue to scale, but it is possible there are some hiccups soon.
