Merry Christmas
If you object to “Christmas” because of your religion or being atheist, you don’t have to celebrate it
If you want to celebrate just the bits you like, feel free but don’t change it’s name & we won’t lobby to change the name of your religious celebrations
The German Christmas market attacker was a foreigner.
Arguing about his specific beliefs is second to the point.
Every death of an ethnic native caused by a foreigner of any kind is in part the fault of the government.
Germany was literally safer for Germans under Hitler.
@LastIsGunfire@CyclingDebbie@basilthegreat The Germans don’t call them German markets. They call them Christmas markets (Weihnachtsmarkt) - so adopted or not that’s what they should be called. Given we are a Christian country laying them on at Christmas. I’m an atheist.
🚨LONDON'S BIGGEST CHRISTMAS MARKET NAMED 'WINTER COMETOGETHER'
"STALL TRADERS TOLD THEY CAN'T SAY CHRISTMAS"
They must say 'Winter Market'
Why does multi-culturalism mean destroying our culture?
I understand why people read headlines like this and are confused by the language. But there is no conspiracy. It's mandated journalistic practice to avoid prejudicial language with crimes. A suspect is in custody. It's not for the press to assign a criminal judgement to him (i.e. "murderer" or "terrorist"), it's for the courts.
@foresthoop@rickygervais Given the millions upon millions of atheists who have celebrated Christmas in the UK all your life, you are either staggeringly unobservant or being disingenuous.
@bulletproof1979@Bethpresswood@Suffragent_ They may celebrate at this time of year, but it’s not Christmas they are celebrating as one cannot remove Christ and still call it Christmas..
@TweetWithWolves@Bethpresswood@Suffragent_ Your experience is clearly limited. Given the millions upon millions of atheists (the majority of atheists) who celebrate it.
If your claim was accurate you'd be able to point go evidence of millions of complaints...
@bulletproof1979@Bethpresswood@Suffragent_ In my experience of atheists it’s the many and not the few who complain about the religious aspects despite it being a religious celebration..
