@MySportsUpdate It really isn’t this serious 😂 plenty of athletes supported Biden on stage and they never heard a peep. Move on already

Jameis Winston gave some of the best perspective on the Jaxson Dart/Donald Trump media explosion that has gone on recently … and he used the FIFA World Cup coming to the United States to explain his point. Take a listen…. 👏👏👏

@NickFreiling Pre purchase inspections exist. Buying a new car isn’t exactly the “smart” choice for everyone

I think Dave Ramsey is wrong about cars. There is no way to assuredly buy a "cheap and reliable" used car. You can gamble on one, but you can't be sure that's what you'll get. It's smarter to buy new. It's *extremely* hard to save money without predictable monthly expenses.

My friend pays $1,940/month for daycare. For one child. That’s more than her mortgage was five years ago. The daycare workers make $16/hour. They still buy supplies with their own money. The center has a waiting list 11 months long. She did the math. If she quits her job, they lose health insurance. If she keeps working, most of her paycheck disappears into childcare. So every morning she drops off her kid to go work mostly to afford dropping off her kid. We say people aren’t having enough children. Then we make raising one financially suicidal.

Centennial High School graduation in Franklin, Tennessee was held outdoors despite heavy rain and lightning Weather is known in advance so the caroming could have been moved indoors but school officials had a “Rain or Shine” Policy so the Pre-Set Plans had to move ahead They knew the rain was coming but thought they could get the ceremony done before the rain and didn’t want to move the ceremony into the gym. From what I could find they didn’t know if everyone would fit They even had a backup plan incase it rained Staff indicated that if it rained on Thursday, they’d try again Friday and go indoors if needed then. They stuck with the original Thursday plan rather than moving it to Friday Many parents and attendees were extremely frustrated, calling it unsafe due to the lightning strikes. They were disappointing because it was such a milestone

@skumWgmi So you’re expecting to be able to buy that house for $74,000 like they did in 1987?

My neighbor bought his house in 1987 for $74,000. He refinanced once. He paid it off. His property taxes are $1,800/year because of how long he's owned it. The exact same house next door just sold for $710,000. The 28-year-old who bought it pays $9,200/year in taxes. And $4,100/month on the mortgage. Same street. Same house. Completely different life. We didn't just price people out of homes. We priced them out of futures.

@jeremyct 10 years old is hardly considered used in today’s world. Need to stretch that to 20 years old and then you’ll find stuff within your budget

my transmission died uncle told me: “just buy a reliable used car like we used to.” then i showed him the market. a decent 2015 honda with over 140k miles was like $14k cash. he said: “back in my day i paid $4,000.” i adjusted it for inflation and it was STILL cheaper than cars today then he hit me with “you just need to negotiate better.” now people are out here paying hundreds monthly for 8-9 years on used cars they didn’t even want. “just buy used” stopped making sense when used cars started costing what new cars used to.

@CryptoMikli He’s got a point. People making no money love to drive new fancy cars, live in the nicest house, and try to live a luxury lifestyle. Stay within your means based on your income, it’s not hard.
