Agreed, it could be seen. I definitely can’t stand his antics. But if he said that phrase… and in this situation decided to back off/walk away… And was still physically attacked… It’s still self defense, is my guess based on TN law. More video evidence is needed. And more vetted eye witnesses.

In my mind, Draymond is the best defender of all time. He also was instrumental in unlocking the Warriors offense around Steph and Klay (and then KD). I just never understood why his individual skill level on offense (finishing, shooting, ball handling) never improved over all these years.

Draymond Green would not have the career he had if he wasn’t drafted by the Warriors and played with Steph/Klay/KD, but Draymond Green would still be one of the greatest players we’ve seen if he was drafted anywhere else. He’s one of the smartest players we’ve ever seen. He’s arguably the most versatile defender ever. The fact that he’s still playing and defending at an elite level a decade later is insane. He’d be good anywhere.

people forget if not for haliburton going down with the achilles, the pacers were likely well on there way to being nba champs and the thunder are just the team that came up short in the finals. sure its debatable, but id argue the pacers are defending champs if tyrese isnt out game 7. lakers should have that in mind going into tomorrows game. just another game, against another basketball team in the nba. same as them. gameplan and follow through on that gameplan and you can beat anyone, regardless of the losses / how bad they were earlier in the season. part of the reason the thunder are so dominant/good now, is because they have that aura and ring to back it up. would they be the same team had they lost in the finals etc? im sure theyd still be great, but them winning adds to it. and thats all it is. but this is a new series, a new season, so act accordingly LA!
