@Calibremag That seems to be a consistent trend with government, put the people least qualified to be in charge of a file on it, and then act surprised when it becomes a dumpster fire. Bonus points if the person is a breathtakingly incompetent and/or appallingly corrupt.

Our nation's most sweeping gun bans were largely overseen by a guy who was so scared of guns he refused to even touch one. And the current guy in charge of all this doesn't know what a gun license is, nor the difference between the OIC long gun bans, and Bill C-21. Oh, Canada.
