Mother’s Day is a big deal in our household!
Even though our society undervalues motherhood, it is an incredibly beautiful role that God created to be celebrated and honored.
The truth is, excellent mothers can have more generational impact and influence than most CEOs ever will.
My wife has loved not having to lift a finger for a single meal today 😉
And it has been a privilege to serve her.

So the government is gonna have to get off its lazy ass and do something.
I suggest for society to notice the X number of jobs there is.

I got it once. First time I hit five miles. Got back home and just kept going to 8. Felt amazing. Kept chasing it after that and never really got it again. Got close on some of the long runs training for the LA Marathon, but not quite.

(1) That's an earthworks dam. IIRC the US did not even attempt an aerial bombing of any earthworks dam in WWII due to them being so hard to breach. Simple cratering calculations show that breaching an EW dam to water level would require several coordinated semi trailers full to the brim with ANFO.
(2) oh look, there is a government firearms training facility literally feet from the dam. Even money that the grenade walked out the door from that facility after an explosives training, the government-employed thief had second thoughts, and chucked it into the lake
(3) #2 but instead it was intentional as a federal/state funding grab

Yesterday, Divers doing a routine maintenance check at the Converse Reservoir Dam in Mobile, AL discovered an underwater grenade type IED. The FBI bomb squad had to be called in to safely detonate it. The Reservoir and Dam are critical infrastructure, and this is being called “an unprecedented threat“ The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has been made aware of the situation.
