@michaelbe812 @angular I literally had a ticket at work which I made that says „add linting rules to remove unused imports“. Gonna set that to done after updating 🤝🏻

@eugeniyoz Imagine combining that with a directive which preloads on hover for certain routes
English

How to preload lazy-loaded routes in your #Angular app and don't make users wait after clicking a link (when lazy-loading works against us):
1. Create a preloading strategy:

@0xDesigner @pastelETH *It sucks if you can’t code
Literally skips you right past the boilerplate code by hitting one key.
Anyways, thanks for sharing your experience in such detail. Gonna save this and forward it to my friends when the question „Am I gOiNg To Be A gOoD dEv WiTh Ai ✨“ comes up again

@Carnage4Life It’s been over 3 years since they ended their service. If you still have goo.gl links on your site it’s your fault if they break, not theirs.
English

@ladyindev @ImLunaHey Not best practice, but you also can add the role=„button“ attribute.
developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web…
Also, if you mainly develop in-house software, a11y rarely is a huge concern, so that’s why you might have missed it/your seniors do not care.
English

@ImLunaHey As a junior dev, this was kinda my understanding. However, the senior on my team exclusively uses divs as buttons. For my own edification, are these rules outlined somewhere that I could read up on?

@BenniOderSoo @spacewarrior09 Naja, nur, weil er sich jetzt geoutet hat, ändert das ja nix an dem Humor, der sich mit 40 Jahren automatisch einstellt 😂

@idanmasas @Scobeez Because you are asking for 15k. What is your running cost and current MRR? + maybe how many paying customers make up the current revenue
English

I'm selling 🦜Ping Parrot
Asking price: $15,000
What you'll get:
- The brand (domain, assets)
- The product (Frontend [Next.js] and backend [Node.js], both written in TypeScript)
- X (120+ followers)
The product is ready, operational, and has a few paying customers (for over 3 months now). It's prepared to be marketed and handle scale.
If anyone's interested, send me a DM and I'll happily answer further questions and provide more information.
English

@ThomKnepper @levelsio @kavirkaycee @carrd Well. Turn your back to those providers. As soon as their revenue drops they will adapt. Also: You always have the option to convert avif/webp to any other format. It’s literally two clicks.
English

@cammeritz @levelsio @kavirkaycee @carrd It's about the CMS support. There are tons of sites out there who don't accept it as an input. If you're coding it yourself or have control on your own platform, it's great! The issue isn't the filetype. It's that too much sites are too lazy and not implementing support.
English

I wonder how many users Unsplash.com is losing every day after the acquisition, because they switched to showing ALL photos as AVIF files instead of JPG/PNG
Which when you download them are 100% unusable on most site builders (like @carrd for example) or even most social media like on here
Using AVIF or WebP is a crime against your users, you just make their life unnecessarily hard and they'll switch to other sites

English

@levelsio @kavirkaycee @carrd caniuse.com/avif
caniuse.com/webp
Idk how old the browsers are which you are using to test your software, but it should not be a problem for the end user.
Why would you blame Unsplash for going with the flow, instead of the companies which refuse to adapt?
English

@kavirkaycee @carrd Yea and they don't work ANYWHERE when you try upload them
English

@ryanseanbadger It’s quiet addicting to watch people use your site (it can record user input, similar to what sentry does). And also it offers an easy to use interface for people from other departments like marketing etc too. I like it, and it’s free. 👍🏻

Anybody using Microsoft Clarity? Is it good?
clarity.microsoft.com
English

@brandontroberts @CesarDemi81 @dylhunn @analogjs You won’t get my point, since you clearly have a different opinion on this topic, which is okay. I just disagree. Let’s leave it at that.
English

@cammeritz @CesarDemi81 @dylhunn @analogjs AnalogJS doesn't change anything about how templates work with Angular, because that happens at the compiler level.
Why must Angular be unique in this way in not offering features other frameworks have for the sake of "protecting developers" from themselves?
English

@brandontroberts @CesarDemi81 @dylhunn @analogjs Actually yes, I think the way it’s done now is perfect. At least when talking about Angular. If you want to have things differently there are Meta Frameworks which might suite your needs better. e.g. AnalogJS
English

@cammeritz @CesarDemi81 @dylhunn @analogjs lol why write code at all if it can be bad? They can still type check this code, provide linting and structure around it, and improve component authoring.
What would you rather have? Keep it as-is?
English

@brandontroberts @CesarDemi81 @dylhunn @analogjs Again the question is: Why would you want to offer the ability to write bad code?
Why don’t we use pure JavaScript instead of TypeScript, although it would work?
English

@brandontroberts @dylhunn @analogjs of the logic into the html files. There is no reason why anyone should do this, but if you give people the option to do it, they will do it
English

@brandontroberts @dylhunn @analogjs Sure thing, but allowing people to do things which are poor design does not sound like a good feature to me. I guarantee you that if you give people the option to do this, there will be someone out there who starts using the ts files like a „declaration“ and then putting all
