We invaded Venezuela, kidnapped their leader and installed a puppet, and are now pillaging the country's resources just like the fascists in the 1930s did, and somehow this has already been normalized and isn't being treated as the crime it is cnbc.com/2026/03/25/ven…

Folks, I'm gonna give you some unsolicited advice that you may not wanna hear and you can feel free to ignore it:
Save as much money as you possibly can right now.
I'm not saying you shouldn't spend on your kids or go out for dinner or whatever, but trust me on this: avoid big purchases, don't take out unnecessary loans, don't worry about remodeling parts of your house that don't need remodeling, etc.
Because mark my words: we are going to be hit with a mass unemployment freight train in the next few years, maybe much sooner, and when that happens, you are going to be so glad you have a good savings cushion.
I am not an economist, but I know politics.
And what I see right now--what I have been seeing for the past few years--are politicians who don't understand AI and tech people who don't give a shit about labor displacement and dismiss it as a necessary "disruption" for advancement.
Neither politicians nor the tech industry are doing much of anything to prevent this. There is no coherent plan to address the incoming, rapid labor displacement by AI.
There are a few folks here and there with some interesting ideas, and yet, nothing is really gaining traction.
But it's coming. You can count on it. We will be hit with mass unemployment, it will compress the job market, and the effects will quickly compound.
Save as much money as you can starting now. Trust me on this.

Strickland: They took away food stamps
Moore: We took the fraud away from food stamps… I helped write the bill. That bill is giving every single middle class American $2,000 tax cut this year. So you're in favor of the middle class paying $2,000 a year more?
Tanden: $973. And that $973 has been wiped out by the increase in gas costs just in the last month.

NYT: Iran’s missile and drone attacks have driven U.S. forces from U.S. military bases, “forcing many American troops to relocate to hotels and office spaces throughout the region.”
U.S. can’t defend its own bases from Iran.
So why keep them?
“Many of the 13 military bases in the region used by American troops are all but uninhabitable, with the ones in Kuwait, which is next door to Iran, suffering perhaps the most damage.” ‼️
Stating the obvious, but this is really bad, folks.

So let me get this straight. The previous administration criminally prosecuted Michael Flynn.
Michael Flynn pleaded GUILTY to the charges.
Then Trump 2.0 pardons Michael Flynn.
Flynn sues the previous administration for politically motivated prosecution.
...And the current Trump administration is settling the lawsuit with taxpayer dollars an UNDISCLOSED amount of $.
There needs to be a law against this kind of self-dealing. This is absolutely maddening.

NEW: DOJ has reached a financial settlement with Michael Flynn, the conservative activist and former Trump adviser who sought millions for what he alleged was a politically motivated prosecution. No $ details in court notice today, more to come buff.ly/ccz6Hj3 Prev: buff.ly/sWZrlKV

Trump's Justice Department has agreed to pay Michael Flynn $1.25 million in taxpayer money even though he pleaded guilty twice to making false statements to FBI agents about his interactions with Russian officials. @alanfeuer nytimes.com/2026/03/25/us/…
