I rely on data from Inventory Labs to make daily high $$$ decisions and to have it be completely useless right now is insane malpractice by threecolts Literally what am i even paying for at this point if the numbers are useless and its an afterthought at the company (for some reason)

@nd_wallingford @flaspi1 @amazon From a seller's perspective nothing has changed. Amazon has always treated their sellers like shit they've only ever fixed what has been convinient for them. Your take whether factual or not, takes far too much accountability away from Amazon

@carryingtheone @flaspi1 @amazon Nah guy. Amazon's monopoly wasn't nearly as complete under Obama as it is now. Biden (via Lina Khan at FTC) was the first president to actually fight back against the monopolies. Trump fired Lina Khan and accepts bribes from corporations. Get you're fucking head out of the sand.

1/ I have sold on @amazon since 2017. I am the brand owner and manufacturer of my product. I do not sell to a single third party. Amazon is my only retail channel. So why has the Amazon algorithm just killed my Buy Box for 8 straight days using prices that don't exist anywhere on the internet? 🧵

@Flippin4Gold You mean a "Computer Use" agent or like an automated script using Amazon's API? I'm interested on a high-level overview on how you set this up

@nd_wallingford @flaspi1 @amazon Such a retarded take. This has been happening for years, thoughout all kinds of administrations. Its an Amazon problem, you dont see Etsy and Walmart, etc.. doing shit like this

@flaspi1 @amazon I don't mean to be disrespectful in, but the solution to this is anti-trust enforcement, regulation and ultimately breaking up monopolies like Amazon. Trump and the Republicans are in bed with corporations, so what did you honestly expect? They don't care about you at all.

I’m making $7,000+ on one discontinued amazon flip. 95 cents into $60+ over 100 times. One of my more unbelievable amazon to amazon debundles. $11.43 for a 12 pack. Total cost was $114.30. 95 cents a bottle. 120 bottles, I have 90 left. I plan to let the rest go for $60 a bottle. $60 x 120 =$7,200 Although I’ve already sold 30 for over $2,000. Slower seller so it’s taken me some time to move them but for this return I won’t complain.

@SaulSellsStuff interesting. How is that going so far? You seem to be pretty into AI + Business, do you share what is working best for you at the moment anywhere?

I started working on pointing this towards my A2A buys for amazon. The idea behind the project is what is killer and translates well. I load in a few thousands leads I’ve already purchased and know the outcomes for. I give it just the raw data minus the outcome. I provide it my framework for success. It predicts per lead the success and then it is shown what actually happened. Based on the real outcome it iterates on its thinking and moves to the next lead. It just keeps doing that. Goal is eventually it’ll bat 100% on my historical buys to where I can point it at new leads and the researched outcome will be worth it.

I packaged up the "autoresearch" project into a new self-contained minimal repo if people would like to play over the weekend. It's basically nanochat LLM training core stripped down to a single-GPU, one file version of ~630 lines of code, then: - the human iterates on the prompt (.md) - the AI agent iterates on the training code (.py) The goal is to engineer your agents to make the fastest research progress indefinitely and without any of your own involvement. In the image, every dot is a complete LLM training run that lasts exactly 5 minutes. The agent works in an autonomous loop on a git feature branch and accumulates git commits to the training script as it finds better settings (of lower validation loss by the end) of the neural network architecture, the optimizer, all the hyperparameters, etc. You can imagine comparing the research progress of different prompts, different agents, etc. github.com/karpathy/autor… Part code, part sci-fi, and a pinch of psychosis :)

@SaulSellsStuff @CoFoundersNik Those AI detectors are bogus. they are an educated guess at best. and commonly flag non ai text as ai. the only way to tell for certain is if the ai company leaves a watermark in the text deliberately

@CoFoundersNik Unfortunately I think it’s generous to say it’s how most people will work. My guess is the majority won’t take the time to do rewrites. Eventually most won’t even proof read.

I just ran the same post through two AI detectors: GPTZero: 99% confident it was written by AI Originality dot ai: 100% confident it was written by a HUMAN Word for word, same text We're building: - academic policies - hiring decisions - content moderation rules All around tools (that companies pay for) that can't even agree with each other. Here's what actually happened with my post: I had a conversation with AI. Bounced ideas. Got structure. Got frameworks. Then I rewrote the whole thing (not copy & paste) in my voice, with my experience, my framing & my opinions. So what is it? AI-generated? Human-written? Both? Neither? Honestly I think it's just... how people are going to work from now on. You use AI to think faster. Then you write what YOU think. The ideas get shaped in conversation but the output is yours. The main problem is that all writing style is converging. It all looks and sounds the same. Did AI write it? Doesn't matter. We're now training ourselves on AI writing just by scrolling. Its like every person has access to a ghostwriter except its the same EXACT ghostwriter and everyone can tell ahahaha

I'd say you're almost correct. You do need to account for the VA's, the software, the prep center, and any other supplies. Plus you need to account for refunds, damages, etc. An item that looks like it makes $50 profit per day may actually turn out to be a product that makes $10 profit per day. so I'd say you need to aim a little higher than what you said.

Realistic to quit your job selling on Amazon? To replace a $8,000/mo income: 5 items making $50/day, or 11 items making $25/day, or 27 items making $10/day You don't need a home run product. You need a repeatable process for finding simple winners

Instead of focusing on whether I was wasting time or not I went to Africa for 6 months Tried 2 different biz models Then landed on one I know I can submerge into for the next 20+ years I wouldn't have had the time to F around and figure this stuff out if I had pushed myself into a job just to touch some extra cash

If you're ever between biz models, Say you fully outsourced your Amazon biz and now don't know what to do with your time (Literally me last year) Do not get a job Worst case, be idle and do nothing until you figure out the next move "He who works all day has no time to make money." - John D. I used to waste hours clicking through storefronts thinking more data meant better sourcing It didn’t The real shift was learning what to ignore Once you train your eye to spot the small group of ASINs that actually drive volume and margin the whole game speeds up Most sellers look at everything The ones scaling only study what matters
