Is a 3PL a media company? Can be. This month, @HelloTidalwave launched a new service to clients called "Content Pass". We make professional behind the scenes content for your brand. Thesis: Give our brands another tool in the toolbelt to succeed on Facebook. They sell more stuff, we ship more stuff, we all win. Creative fatigue is higher than ever, and this style of content historically has worked well. If you use a 3PL, this style of content is either not possible, or prohibitively expensive. We charge $200/mo (now). Our upside is ... your ad pops off and I can ship thousands of incremental packages.

Announcing the most unexpected partnership you could imagine... @CommnThreadCo x @northbeam are joining forces. 6 years ago @MAustinHarrison approached me with the email in the attached image. It was a deal for Northbeam to takeover Statlas and become the embedded software product inside of CTC. At the time I didn't believe that attribution was the right path for us to pursue. Probably cost me tens of millions of dollars... Needless to say Northbeam has gone on to become a staple in the eCommerce industry. Trusted by thousands of merchants to guide their media decision making. I have had very public issues with MTA products, including Northbeam, over the years and I still do... BUT I have also watched them evolve their product into so much more. That movement has been in directions that I agree with and have shared vision around. Things like: Aligning optimization with attribution by passing data back to meta. First party tracking of customer identity to support in identify resolution for your acquisition Visibility of media impact beyond 7/28 days and now incrementality testing. All pieces of measurement that CTC believes are important to building a system of progressive truth. As our ideologies have converged our business models have moved in different directions. This is where the opportunity for partnership emerged. Northbeam has chosen, thoughtfully, to move up market where media complexity and dollar values allow for larger investments in measurement systems. That pursuit of the enterprise and pricing strategy left many 7 figure store owners without access to their technology. Meanwhile, CTC is actively engaged in figuring out how to bring enterprise level sophistication to the SMB market. Given our position as a service provider it allows us to provide the high level of care needed to deploy these tools to 7 figure store owners. With all this in context I am excited to announce that CTC is the EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER of Northbeam technology to 7 figure store owners. It will be included as part of our Global Accelerator program (Prophit Engine - 7) going forward. Stores as this level of revenue/spend often are too early to deploy incrementality testing in a way that would give them definitive results in reasonable timelines. So, to help our customers get the best possible POV on their media we will now be ingesting and displaying Northbeam data directly inside of Statlas. Enriching our data and presentation of impact to our customers. While this may not lead to the same personal financial riches as that equity offer all those years ago, I do believe it has the same potential to make a positive impact for the community. If you are a 7 figure store owner who has been interested in trying the product before, reach out and we can take you through how the partnership will work! Excited to share more about the partnership in the coming days and weeks.

Although I think this sounds great, I did this for 100+ days straight and never broke over 300 likes. Got a lot of good feedback from the people that did see though Maybe I was too early?

I interviewed all of the best creative strategists in the world. @binghott. @iamshackelford. @DenneyDara. @sourfraser. @MatthewGattozzi. @pkennedy93 @thedennis. @harrydelmege_. @heyitsalexP. (thank you so much guys, you're all the best) If you read this document you will be able to become, train, & hire the best advertiser/creative strategist in the world. I promise you that. Hiring and training creative strategists is one of the most expensive mistakes you can make if you get it wrong. So I asked the best in the world: what separates the ones who actually produce winners from everyone else. I wrote it all up in one doc. I put a lot of time into this and there literally 0 AI, just 14 pages of straight sauce. reply "STRAT" and I'll send it over.

I will be boycotting Amazon’s advertising next week to protest the company’s greed. I hope you all can join me in doing so and post a screenshot proving so after you have.

@ShinghiD 1) this absolutely sucks 2) i thought i saw in MDS that we'd get offered 30 day invoicing on the ads... but I haven't seen anything from Amazon on this. overall, I haven't seen much of anything communication wise from Amazon on any of this.

Amazon's DD+7 changes and move to make Amazon Ads paid by Seller funds is going to hurt the cashflows of lot of businesses. ExpandFi has a report for this, but you can also use this free tool here to calculate the impact. expandfi.com/tools/cash-flo…
Prue Millsap@MillPrue

This is the reality for my business with the changes from Amazon recently. DD+7 and Ads Changes. I use a tool called ExpandFi to measure LTV across Shopify and Amazon (aggregated data) and they built this tool in to understand how it impacts my business. Good times.

My community has $15b of yearly sales on Amazon with 800+ members. These are small businesses. They employ real Americans and support local communities. They do not have large margins to absorb shocks. Every year Amazon squeezes them more and supports overseas Chinese sellers instead of local American businesses. Now Amazon is hitting sellers with even more of a squeeze all back to back: 1.Amazon has moved many sellers to DD+7 Meaning funds are held until 7 days after delivery, not simply paid out on the old cadence. 2.Amazon just added a 3.5% fuel/logistics surcharge on fulfillment fees. 3.To top it off now Amazon Ads charges will be pulled directly from disbursements rather than floating on a credit card. That combination matters. Amazon already forces sellers into an environment where ads dominate visibility. So now the same platform that pressures brands to spend more on ads is also tightening payout timing and pulling more cash out before sellers ever see it. For a very large business, this is just a minor annoyance. But for a small business making payroll just got 50x harder. Less cash on hand means: less inventory more stockouts more debt more strain on small teams and ultimately a worse customer experience This is not “supporting small business.” It is starving the brands that create so much of the value customers come to Amazon for. @WSJ @business @nytimesbusiness @BusinessInsider @ReutersBiz @CNBC @APBusiness If you’re covering Amazon, local communities hit by a hard economy and large companies trying to squeeze hardworking Americans hit me up.

@TaylorHoliday was the decision purely sports based? Like, you were good at baseball, and they thought holding you back would give you a better chance at college/pro?

25 years ago my parents were well ahead of the trend… Being held back a year between 8th and 9th grade completely changed the trajectory of my life. Our sports ecosystem is highly preferential to physical maturity at young ages. If puberty happens later it has real effect on perception, opportunity and confidence.

Paddy | Shopify CRO & Websites
This is the exact framework behind 500+ landing pages and $100M+ in incremental revenue across 150+ DTC brands (and I’m giving it away for free). A majority of eCommerce brands right now are making 100s of ad creatives a month and spending $10k+/mo on paid traffic... Just to send them to a product page. This is why your clicks look good, but conversions are lagging behind. Because cold traffic NEEDS warming first. And the only way to do that... Is with a proper funnel. Which is exactly what I’ve mapped out here for you. This slide deck has the exact full funnel strategy we use for all of our 7-9 figure brands. Inside you’ll find: • Our research-first CRO process (analysis, ideation, experimentation) • The hero section blueprint that hooks visitors in 5 seconds • Advertorial structures for the coldest traffic • How to use community screenshots and ad comments as conversion proof • Subscription offer frameworks that set expectations and reduce churn • Real examples from brands like Menerals, 8 Sheep Organics, and Natrava Once again, we’ve thoroughly tested all of this. It’s the exact playbook behind well over 150+ brand optimizations. And if you can implement this, there’s room to add an extra 5-7 figures/mo to your revenue. (with out having to spend another dime on ads) Just comment "CRO" I’ll send it over ASAP. (must be following)

Roman Khan - Founder of Peak 21. We acquire brands
Just wrapped call w/ founder who wanted me to invest in his D2C business. I gave him different advice and a potential solution that's way cheaper (at bottom) Business owns him, not vice versa. 2025A: $17M rev, negative EBIT 2026F: $30M rev, <5% EBIT Key stats: - 21 day production lead times - Terms: 30% deposit, 20% on delivery, rest NET 30 - CM2 70% - High-cost debt (20%+ APR) - 120+ SKUs, no sell-through or per-SKU interest allocation - Factory solid (>30 mo relationship), unbeatable COGS-quality - Shipped from China to the consumer globally Recommendation: - Give factory 10% equity - Switch to consignment + EOD Friday payments for sold goods to remove cashflow constraints - Visit factory quarterly (4×/yr) I also shared how to prep 7 slides for supplier meeting. If post gets traction, I’ll recreate slides here as template. Just comment TRACTION. I need at least 100 lol I think he’ll succeed. He's smart and he is clearly a winner. Website for his category was 10 out of 10.

What if @claudeai could get a second opinion before writing your code? I made Claude Code automatically consult OpenAI's Codex before approving any plan. Two competing models reviewing each other = way better output. Just updated the skill with @OpenAI 5.4 model. link below.
