@PalaeoPhilo Both! The things I have learned about myself on solo trips have been instructive re: my relationships to others. On the other hand, travelling with someone else is always very precious.

As an undergraduate, I sent several of the things I wrote to various journals to build up my CV for grad school applications. The last of these various things (a section of my BA Hons. thesis) has now come out, and I can move on to the next stage of my academic journey.
