@PepeDogood @JavierBlas Pakistan previously denied paying spot prices for LNG and was betting on the strait to ease. This tanker could be seen as a loss in that confidence, and an attempt to get cheaper LNG, imo

@JavierBlas How is this notable, if they’re following the new Iranian lane? Am I missing something?

Notable shipping movement in the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar is sending a laden LNG tanker (if sucesfull, it would be 1st crossing for Qatar since the start of the war). Crucially, the Al Kharaitiyat tanker is following the new Iranian shipping lanes. Her destination is Pakistan.

We venerate St. Joseph in so many ways, but also as a man of silence! True to his nature, here at Knock, he’s in silent adoration of Jesus, the Lamb of God. @thegnewsroom

I hope the NHL holds Jamie Benn accountable for once… First a Slewfoot on Matt Boldy in Game 2 & now a blatant cross check to the back of Boldy’s head in Game 3. Should be in the press box in Game 4. #TexasHockey  #MNWild  Such a dirty player.

@xmikemac @ky_cayenne You failed to mention any other Church Fathers that upheld papal supremacy. Saint Cyprian disagreed on validity of baptism by heretics. Church Fathers believed in the Eucharist, including Saints Augustine & Cyprian. Indulgences have zero to do with validity of the Eucharist.

No doubt that sounds impressive right up until you actually read what the early fathers said instead of just repeating what later church systems claim they meant. Yes! They recognized Peter had prominence and that Rome mattered. Awesome. But that ain’t the same thing as a fully developed Roman Catholic papacy with universal jurisdiction and infallibility. That came MUCH later - you do know that right? And the “fathers” themselves weren’t even all saying the same thing about Matthew 16:18. Augustine said the “rock” was Christ/ Peter’s confession, not Peter himself. Cyprian of Carthage—often quoted to SUPPORT Rome—actually taught that ALL apostles shared equal authority and later opposed the bishop of Rome directly, which makes absolutely no sense if he believed in a supreme pope. That’s from the church fathers. Protestantism didnt get involved until the church started ‘selling indulgences for sin’ so the rich could buy their way out of purgatory. Think Bill Gates Climate Credit - pay money - sin away. It needed to be reformed because the power and ego got out of control.

Peter never called himself the rock. Not once. Peter pointed to Jesus as the stone. Paul said Jesus is the only foundation. So no, the church is not built on Peter in some pope-chair, Rome-rules-the-world sense. Peter got a new name, yes. Peter got a new life, yes. Peter got a huge role, yes. But Jesus Christ is the foundation. Peter was just a servant standing on that foundation like everybody else. If Rome wants Peter to be the foundation, there’s a problem because: Peter kept preaching Jesus. Paul kept preaching Jesus. The Bible keeps preaching Jesus. That’s the church - Jesus. Period.

In this reality, the Passover of the Lord invites us to lift our gaze and open our hearts. The Lord is alive and remains with us. Through the cracks of resurrection that open up in the darkness, he entrusts our hearts to the hope that sustains us: the power of death is not the final destiny of our lives. We are all directed, once and for all, on the path to fulfilment, because in Christ we also have risen. #Easter
