@edenchen @steverockan @Flayra @Sirlin @biiigfoot Glad to help. Elo isn’t typically used in most systems these days, but the principles are similar. Things have evolved to include more advanced factors, and there are key game design choices to make as well. I’ll ask Eden to connect us 👍

Anyone in my network ever implemented ELO for a competitive game?
Ie: a) what rating new players should have and b) what a desirable distribution should look like.
It seems like players should start at 0 and grow, but the algorithm doesn't seem to work that way. #gamedev

It’s pretty simple: Google Meet (original) was previously Meet, which was the rebranded Hangouts Meet. Meet has been merged with Google Duo, which replaced Google Hangouts. Google Duo has been renamed Meet, and Meet has been temporarily named Google Meet (original), for clarity

@GeePawHill @alexbunardzic My current take is to start Chicago, more integration-y early. Once the structure matures, mocking at each boundary significantly reduces fixture size and inproves maintainability. Both approaches couple to code structure to different degrees at different lifecycles. /10
