I know I probably won't reach alot of people with this - But our game Wild Indigo Ranch is out next week ❤️🔥
It's the most ambitious thing I have ever been part of : small team, big dreams and zero bullshit.
It's a #crafting #RPG its cute and it's crazy.

Le montant de la cagnotte à la fin de ce #ZEVENT2024 s'élève donc à 10145881€ !
Un grand bravo et un grand merci à tous ceux qui nous ont aidé à lutter contre la précarité en France. 🙏

@MoiTrades @davidfowl Yes ! The platform offers nice migration paths from .NET Framework, you can start with core class libraries, making them .netstandard2.0, then move up, step-by-step.
English

@ccorsano @davidfowl Your stack is honestly my dream stack loool and I've been trying to convince my bosses to allow us migrate our successful legacy LOB App from WPF + WCF to Blazor + Orleans backend :)
And thanks to the dynamism of .net and C# the re-platforming can be done graduallytoo !!!

Outer Wilds is one of the best games I've ever played. The DLC was masterfully done and incredible as well.
Don't watch videos of it.
Don't watch streams.
Play it.

For .NET devs, @msftorleans gives you this.
Efficient in-proc calls when you're in-proc, fast RPC when you're not. Orleans is battle tested, modern, and used in-production for some of Microsoft's largest svcs. It goes further, supporting versioning, rolling upgrade, & much more

@Iracuze Ah oui, là ca sent la manette défectueuse, j'aurais tenté un RMA perso.
On utilise ces manettes au taf sur PC et devkits, jamais vu un soucis tel que tu le décris.

@philkellr Can recommend @infomaniak
I moved a single one of my domains to them, then added multiple linked domains to the included email service (comes with a super nice web client as well).
Total with domain privacy: 14.40 € / year, plus tax
English

Own multiple domains?
Want email for all of 'em?
Don't want to pay x times the email hosting?
My question here yesterday got 84 answers
(thank you, you can stop answering now 😅)
Best solutions:
Google Workspace with multiple domains
This is what I chose in the end.
I knew it's 6$ / month / user.
I assumed this is per domain.
What I didn't know: you can add "alias domains"
I have backl .io and weegee .ch. I configured that both domains go into the same inbox.
Why I chose it: best integration into other services. Let it be @klu_hq or @attio or my own @backl_io - they all support Gmail, some support MS, but then that's it.
You can even apply for Google's startup program and have the first year for free (@Dima_heyqq and @Matt_heyqq did this and claim it's easy and quick)
ImprovMX
This is a email forwarding service.
Forward all your domains emails to your private gmail address, configure all the from domains in your gmail through ImprovMX' smtp settings.
Exactly the use case I have. And it's free!
My concerns: Is it realiable? Free means that there's also misuse?
Cloudflare email forwarding
Similar to ImprovMX but by Cloudflare.
Many many people mentioned doing this. Seems to work great. Also supports sending your custom domains emails from your main gmail account.
Migadu
For 19$/year (yes that's 4 times cheaper than Google) you can have multiple domains serving your email.
Like ImprovMX you can forward to Gmail and also send from Gmail. But it also saves emails on their servers.
Apple iCloud+
If you don't need gmail (I do, cause I want Authenticate and "Send emails on my behalf"), and you already have an iCloud+ subscription:
iCloud+ supports multiple custom domains.
Protonmail unlimited
I like protonmail. Super secure and based in 🇨🇭.
Price: 10.99$ / user / month.
Supports up to 10 email domains.
Includes 500GB storage and VPN.
MxRoute
If you don't get many mails. If you keep it under 10GB.
Price: 129$ lifetime.
Yes, that's right, no monthly subscriptions. A once for lifetime deal. Pretty surprising this one.
Office 365 with multiple domains
Microsoft 365 Business costs $12.50 / user / month (or is it less? People claim it's 5.40 but I'm not sure this includes multiple domains?).
Didn't try it as it's costlier and I prefer Google Suite.
But IMO the integrations into services are almost as good a Google Workspace.
That's a wrap! Follow… Ah no, let's not end like this 😂

@FreyaHolmer That brings me good memories of the Ada type system, where you could specify your array index type, for instance a range subtype of int.
English

I'm not joking, I have a use case!
twitter.com/FreyaHolmer/st…
Freya Holmér@FreyaHolmer
see this is my use case for negative indices! I want to align spline join/knot/curve indices to all canonically start at 0, which means k[-2] and k[-1] are the first two external knots outside the spline curves, and k[0] being the first on-spline knot
